Boring Loss
Watching the game with my dad, there was a moment he said “watching baseball is like watching grass grow.” I’ve personally never felt that way about the game. It’s possible the 2024 Giants offense might inspire that thought to pop into your head more frequently than if you were of a fan of a team that could hit.
Agree with everyone on the last thread about the old and tired players we have that need to go.
Headed back to Ca today. Looks like a lot of rain in front of me.
Augh. Hindsight 20/20, but maybe a few more simulated games for Snell might have been the way to go:)
Good point . I think he’s notoriously slow starter anyway, even with normal ST. Have to look that up.
Dubs game doesn’t matter at this point with both the Kings and flakers up 30.
Morikawa doomed by his putting. At least early.
Chief Nokahoma in the bushes.
Morikawa falling apart. Double double on amen corner so far.
I’m watching golf for the first time in a handful of years, literally. Augusta is beautiful, as usual. Too bad Morikawa’s wheels fell off.
These pros now, even when they make a bird, are about as emotional, as human, as a wet dishrag. I get the mental stability act, the not too high or low, but sheesh — they act like robots out there. Barely acknowledge the gallery. I’ll sound like an old dude, but where’s a new Palmer, Trevino, Nicklaus, hell even Watson. How can anybody get into being fans of this? Ugh…
Getaway day LU River Cats leave the Chihuahuan Desert victorious. Schmitt hit a HR, I believe.
Joey Bart with HR #2 for the Bucs today…
Scheffler unflappable.
Padres up 3 in 8th at Latrine, looking to take series as they rallied to erase 2 run deficit w 2 in 6th and 3 more in 7th off Dogs pen.
