I’m in Craig. Weird things happen. Mets play Az in next 3. Braves have 2 vs Twins then 4 at Philly. We sweep the Brewers (haha) and Mets lose 2/3 and Braves lose 4/6 and we are alive. How long has it been since SF swept a series? I’m confident they have never swept a series away this year, so why not now? Then we are at home vs marlins.
I know we keep saying this but EVERY team (except White Sox) has a 5 or 6 game winning streak once a year. We haven’t. Time is now:)
Pretty sure no sweeps away, and only sweeps at home were Rockies twice.

Unrelated to baseball (but perhaps related to gambling), some kid on Reddit invested his $20k tuition money on NVDA today. Tomorrow, after the “bell,” is the earnings announcement for NVDA. I have a few thousand shares in it that I invested a long time ago . . . Anyway, this is not like any other earnings announcement, as NVDA almost always has a 5-20% swing in share price after hours and the next day.
I mean why not go to Vegas, get a couple of hookers and then put your money on red, black, or 00 on the roulette wheel? At least you would be having fun, right?
By the way, this kid gave no reason for the YOLO gamble. Nor, did he say that this money was earned by him or given to him by his parents for his tuition. Mystery. I only know that wisdom has been chasing him, but he seems to always have been faster. lqtm. The good news is that he is getting this lesson when he is young. I was more or less a fuck up until 31 before I wised up to reality.
