Logan Webb admitted he partied to much watching the HR Derby at the A/S game with a free alcohol party later that evening and was hungover still when he took the mound when he got blasted ( literally) he said just don’t throw up warming up.I take responsibility overindulging in my 1st A/S game.Teammates and organization said don’t worry about it’s just an exhibition game and we’re all just here to have fun..

I have sympathy for Melvin regarding his neck. Sometimes he has to turn his whole body to look sideways, and I have days like that sometimes. We get older, and there’s years of wear and tear on our bodies.
In the NBA they have the dunk, and very rarely does a player miss a shot when they’re on a lone breakaway. They usually just dunk it. The WNBA women shoot a lay-up on those, obviously, and so, once in a great while, they miss. Not even NBA players make 100% of their lay-ups. But I could see that being a little annoying to guys watching a WNBA game. Seeing someone miss a breakaway lay-up. On the other hand, the women, overall, are better free throw shooters. They put the time in to get good at that. It’s always a bit mystifying seeing some of the horrible NBA free throw shooters. Like, seriously, dude, you can’t solve the mystery of the free throw?
The really bad ones look like they aren’t even trying – like fuck it’s hopeless…
I saw a quote from Yaz where he basically knows he’s very much on a year to year thing, and just wants to do whatever he can to keep being a major leaguer. His talent has a ceiling, and he’s getting up there in years. I like the guy’s effort on a daily basis, but the strikeouts get frustrating. I wonder what his status is next season.
Time to move on from Yaz. His talent has peaked. Way too many Ks, and his D isn’t THAT good to excuse the high Ks, and stints on the IL. It’s “thanks for coming” time, and an invitation to the inevitable future Giants’ celebrations…
The Niners have had a lot of success against Rodgers over the years, and that’s a pleasing thing. He’s an anti-vaxxer conspiracy-theory nut. He’s won one whole Super Bowl, so goody for him. He’s had a number of celebrity girlfriends, and I wonder if some of them dumped him, instead of the other way around. The same way a bunch of guys have dumped Ann Coulter over the years. Who wants to stay with a nut?
Well, he’s a 1st ballot HOFer and one of the better QBs ever. Turns out holding kids out of school was a monumentally bad move for all involved. Did more damage to children than the COVID threat did.

Alex Cobb back to IL with blister problem. He’s actually had 2 good starts since first one, allowing only 1 run in 11.2 combined. Maybe he helps Guards in post season.
Yaz still gets XBH once every 10 ABs and has 9 triples and 15 HRs. In down year for offense overall he has OPS of .758, 15% above average per OPS +.
Luis Matos gets an XBH once every 15 ABs and doesn’t have a triple in 150 PAs. His OPS is .592. park adjusted OPS+ has him 32% below league average. He also has 0 SBs on season.
Have a feeling as the better all around player than Matos or McCray he returns for another year.
Unless than can find better one via trade or FA. rather hope they spend $$ on fixing IF and pitching, like a front line SP. Giants are gonna wind up over first echelon CBT lux tax.

I said last year if Yaz and Slater are on the 2024 roster they haven’t done enough to improve the team. They didn’t.
He can be the defensive replacement, 5th outfielder behind Encarnacion, Lee, McCray, and Ramos.
