One More Game
Mercifully, this season will be ending (at least for the Giants). There are some awful nice stories out there led by what the Tigers did. I’ll definitely follow the post season even though I don’t really have a team (besides Detroit). Did the Willie Mac winner get announced and I just missed it? Or is that today?
Speaking of today….Niners.

Matt Chapman won the Willie Mac Award, pretty obvious choice though I was pulling for Heliot Ramos he made a big jump this year and finally an outfielder from the farm system to succeed..
Only thing the fans can appreciate today is hopefully changes throughout the whole organization..
Rather see AZ in than the fucking Braves. But that would take AZ winning and Atl dumping the doubleheader on Monday.
Not me-eff AZ. If DBax lose today and Mets win I think that eliminates them. Lot of different scenarios based on Mets and Braves results today that include maybe only 1 of the 2 games scheduled Monday btw ATL and Mets winds up being necessary. Manfred might have made a mess of this, unsurprisingly.
AZ is everything we are not. Young, fast, and fun to watch.
And yet perfectly capable of dropping 2 of 3 to Giants at home and 2 more games at home to Padres they desperately need. Their pitching sucks (Padres scored 5 off pen in 9th inning of scoreless game and hit 3 HRs) and they have Joc Peterson . Get em outta here.
Oh yeah and this was the mountain areas. Highway 40 that goes from NC to Tenn was wiped out. Not sure what buildings survived up at Chimney Rock, Ashville took a major hit. I’ve never evacuated while living here, but the places that got pretty much fucked up are the places we would have gone to.

We never lost it here. WIFI/internet was out for a few days, but we didn’t get anything like the areas to our west. We’ve had standing water (King Tide?) since the last storm a couple of weeks ago, but the beach areas of NC had very little rain and really no wind events (tornados were also more inland).
Great luck. I guess where the rain was heavy it was Noah’s ark heavy.

Royals make playoffs after losing 106 last year. That is nuts. 50 games under to the playoffs!!!

Giants back to their no/low scoring ways, end the season like most of it. has been. Another season below .500 and no post season — that’s getting real old.
