Pfffttttt…..
Well, at least we’re still pitching great. Bats go cold, it happens. I believe in this pitching staff though so I’m guessing this all sorts itself out soon enough. I will say that getting shutdown by Greene and Lodolo is not anything to be embarrassed about.
Fraley snagging Ramos deep drive in RF was play of the game. As long as Wade Jr. isn’t doing much with bat might as well let Ramos lead off. Reds brought gloves all night.
Props to Birds for 3 shutout innings behind Roupp, and for stranding Lux (guy is pain) on 3b with 1 out and keeping Giants in it. Schmitt had 2 hits and nice play at 1b to cut down runner trying to score. Got some time in at 2b when Melvin hit for Fitz, who has slash line .179/.233/.214.
Should be nice day in City, with Verlander looking for better outing on getaway day. I noticed rain forecast in NYC this weekend so hopefully Giants get games in before leaving for Philly. This starts stretch of 17 straight days with game.
Anyone from East Coast headed to see any Giants in near future?
Sad news about Octavio Dotel, who closed games for A’s 2004/05.
Victor Robles has small fracture and dislocated shoulder per chron. Out 12 weeks/no surgery.
I’m glad to see Schmitt expand his IF roles. He’s a quick learner on D. I doubted him, too. Now if he can just hit a lick, we may get by until Jerar’s healed up.
Fitz on the other hand may be playing his way to Sacto.
Couple good things in Ramos splits per B/R:
Vs. RHP .270/.290/.541 including all 3 HRs.
Away games 3 doubles 3 HRs in 26 ABs OPS 1.000. Good luck to him on upcoming 10 game trip.
Still think they need both a lefty (Wisely bench)) and another lefty BP so they don’t blow out Miller’s arm.2 lefties gives Melvin a better matchup scenario.

Trump paused all tariffs. Except for China, which he moved up to 125%
Blatant market manipulation, with probably insider trading on a massive scale. The polar opposite of pump and dump, it’s use the crazy threats to drive a temporary bear market, then boom, the threats suddenly disappear.
With the SEC and any investigation of this (or likely, lack thereof) under control of Trump.
basic tariffs will continue, just not the performative bs. The oligarchs weighed in and told Trump to back off as the bond market turned south. They don’t want to ruin their methodical push to plundering and privatization. China may not deal.
if foreign capital seriously backs away from USA T bills and notes all hell will break loose.
I lost close to 1/3 mm on paper afterTrump moved back into the whitehouse in Jan but got more than half that back on paper today alone. Ridiculous.

Almost forgot to comment Xoot . . . Like you, it has been a roller coaster. Conservatively, I would say $250k I lost since January. Got half of it back (best day ever) last week when shit for brains rescinded some of the most egregious tariffs. Ironically, since buying this WA home with cash from proceeds from 2 stocks I sold – my net worth actually went up. Not holding my breath though, as numbnuts can do a 180 quickly.
Teime for Verlander to show something.
Or not. . . . ouch.
Bottom of order got rally started then V couldn’t get anyone out. Lux burns them again, dang it. V couldn’t put Reds batters away with fastball.
Good news: A run!
Bad news: Gonna need at least 5 more.
Finally. Jung Hoo Lee.
Oops, damn.
Wilmer, what the hell?
Wow. Consecutive innings with outs at the plate.
Not sure what the thought was to send the slowest guy short of Big Titty on that grounder to short.
Great rbi ABs this inning.
And the Giants did pay Reds to take Taylor Rogers lol.
The bad twin comes thru.
Yep! Small sample size, but Adames has done very little in a lot of situations.
Lee’s been on base 3 times and has yet to try to steal.
Leadoff double by Lee( leads the NL with 7) wasted ..
Wilmet!
Good Twin ballin out strikes out all 3 Reds batter
Wilber ties er up.
WILMER again Clutch!!
Mr.Ed hits dead red for HR to tie it up 6-6!!
How sweet is that.
Yaz and yer fighting Giants complete the comeback.
Yaz walkoff bomb!
Wow what a comeback as Yaz ends the drama with splash bomb.
Statement game.
YAZ loves the big moment drama with a SPLASH 💦 HIT Walkoff HR!! His daughter is on fire saying I need a HR in the Cove!!
that was sweet!!
This was looking like a last year game till Hoo Lee Shit got these guys going.
Verlander is looking dudly so far.
Nice to see Yaz hit one fair. He had 2 foul water shots the other day. Awesome comeback.
Bats warmed up in the high spring sun. Now on to NY and bad weather.
