A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Cigarillo Time

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on April 14, 2025

We smoked those chumps like….eh, you get the idea. I implore anyone to find the Korean announcers do the Lee homeruns from yesterday. I heard the one from Friday and it was hilarious. Hope this dude can stay healthy, he’s a fun watch, not to mention the best hitter we have on the team right now.

      Nice. Thanks.

Yeah, fun guy to watch. Great defender as well.

I get a Willie McCovey vibe on his swing, like it completely wraps around his body on the follow-through.

He has been amazing. Keeps this up I am ordering a jersey. And I haven’t done that in years.

His fan club section that has emerged at the O is a hoot complete with shirts and headgear.

        The Hoo Lee Gans?

        That’s pretty good.

Up there with the Melk Maids

Don’t look now but Giants have best road record (7-2) in all baseball. Only Angels are above .500 on road in AL and only Mets (5-4) and Cubs (7-3) are above .500 on road in NL.

Yeah the Giants are killing it on the road 7-2 just playing solid ball all around great pitching and defense, I’m excited how this team has been under Posey’s leadership attitude just a great vibe and the players are loose and having fun again!

Hoo Lee, will likely be even better at the Philly yard. Yankee stadium loves left handed hitters, but the Phillies yard is much, much more favorable to left handed hitters (5th best for lefties in the MLB).

Thought yesterday was character building win for early in season. Down 3-0 early to defending AL champs on road, only mange four hits entire game but squeak out 5-4 win. Lee’s timely round trippers combined with yet another shut down performance by bullpen.

Out of the frying pan of Big Apple and into the fire of city of brotherly love. This is very challenging 10 game road trip. I’d be glad if Giants scraped out 2 wins in four game set at bandbox in south Philly.

Don’t have any expectations for Roupp tonight.

Agreed Wille. Although, Stott’s walk last inning, of 5 pitches, 2 were definitely strikes according to graphic, and a case could be made for a 3rd pitch being a strike as well.

Giants still teeing off on Phils pitching.

Credit to Roupp for gutting his way through 5…never thought he’d get there but he did.

Way too early in the season to project too far, but the way they’re playing basically and consistently good baseball (despite the 2 shut-outs hiccup, which will happen sometimes), I’m all in at this point of the season with wouldn’t it be grand if something happened on the way to LA’s automatic coronation…
