Turned the Warrior game off in the 4th quarter. They were pissing me off to excessive levels. Man what happened to “all the Bay area does is win games?” At least the Giants got back on the beam.

A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball 
That happens to me every time the Niners or Giants stink it up. I don’t have the patience any longer. Flav I want to thank you for this blog. I don’t talk much here but I read it everyday. Lots of insight here. And pretty sure some from the Giants FO pass through here now and then. At least they should.
I will second Winder’s praise & thanks to Flav. Me too, I read this blog everyday.. during the season, first thing each morning, I reach over, grab my phone and check the Flap. It’s an existential staple for me.

JK had his best games of the year against the Rockets. The Warriors looked dead tired to start the 4th quarter and that is where the game was lost. Put fucking Kuminga in.
Giants did what they had to with only 5 hits.

We have known since Game 1 you got to get the ball out of Curry’s hands and stop bringing the ball up but nooooo…and how Kerr had handled Kuminga and Jackson-Davis is abominable. Doesnt anyone here not think they both could have contributed greatly in this series? But nooooo Kerr has totally fucked them.
Hoping Webb gets some run support today but with six of nine in starting line up hitting near the Mendoza line or below, I may be hoping against hope.

On KNBR, that Kerry Crowley kid, who used to be the Merc’s beat writer on the Giants is good. Today, he rightly nailed the Giants for not covering in the offseason the huge offensive hole at first. Wade is 11 for 88 so far. Horrendous. But especially so for 1b, a key offensive position. He’s not even walking much. How much longer can that go on without some change? I assume Buster will let Wade go through May to hopefully turn things. Lurie had a stats guy earlier on KNBR this morning who destroyed Kruk and the other announcers excuses that Wade has been hitting in bad luck all April. No. He’s just sucked. Crowley also laid the wood on Bailey, who at 30 games has an odiferous expanded line of .161/.213/.241/.454. Friggin’ Joey Bart is at .272/.404/.370/.774 for the Pirates in 25 games so far. I don’t care how good the catcher’s glove is, a nearly useless bat in that position is a bad thing for long-term team success. Huff ain’t a great glove, but at least he can do some damage with the bat. Bailey has to get his average up in the .220 range, at least…

I’m loving the energy Adames brings to the table. I know he’s not going to end up as a .233 hitter, so as he continues to heat up, this team is only going to get better.
Leave Webb in for the 8th. They’re doing squadoosh against him. He can go over 100. Rogers can have the 9th in a non-save wipe up.

Did he (Crowley) have a solution for Giants problem at 1b? Just asking–what do the Giants do from here? If Melvin (or Minasian) isn’t comfortable playing Wade Jr. what do they do going forward?
Bottom of order guys Wade Matos and Bailey combined to go 6-12, each of them getting 2 hits.
As for Bailey, I really think the POBO values his defense and how he handles pitching staff very highly.

Guy goes off for 30, in Houston, unreal night. Rockets couldn’t even make 2 point shots, 28-66. smaller Warriors made 21-39 of their 2s, plus all the 3s. So glad Butler can be the calming influence out there with ball in his hands and all the communicating he does to teammates.
Buddy Buckets was on fire 🔥 22 first half points and that long buzzer beater 3 was a killer!
12-15 shooting 9-11 on 3’s just incredible.Dubs didn’t turn over the ball much was key and the vets rose to the occasion Green,Curry,and Butler stepped up like vets do! Moving on to Minnesota where the Dubs took 3 out 4 in regular season.Get some well deserved REST and keep it going!!
