A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Explosion

So great to see the bats get going again. Wilmet! Wilmet! Wilmet! The guy who nearly caught the grand slam CAUGHT the 3 run bomb and was only about 10 feet away from the 3rd one. Have a night Bleacher Meat.

I’m headed to Medford for a bit. My dad is moving. The one thing he’s most concerned about is not being able to get the Giants games at his new place. Road block! We will get it worked out, my man. See you soon.

Old roommate of mine recorded (on reel to reel) Bob Marley hour long show Wailers did in one of their early appearances in Bay Area that went on radio (KOME iirc). Highlight was Rebel Music, with him singing, “Ain’t got no birth surfer ticket on me now”. 3 o’clock roadblock!

      Ha, thanks Loo.

This version of Knicks best you’ve seen in 50 years?

Obviously not the same sport at all anymore but I liked em a lot the one year they had X-man. Nothing can ever touch the 2 title teams for the geezer crowd…

I’m suspicious of this guy, one of Marty Lurie’s aides at knbr, who posted this last night:

I always wondered if anyone associated with the team (esp. players) ever glanced at the Flap or the Splash. We’ll never know…

Saw a lot of GSV-LA game at Chase last night. well attended and lot of Warriors were there, including Podz Hield Kuminga and I think Looney. they aren’t likely to be very good but doesn’t appear to matter to fanbase, who will get to see best players doing their thing.

Kelsey Plum (37 of team 84 points) torched them all night. She’s from San Diego area and played for U Washington, lit up Pac 12 for 4 years and has couple rings already in WNBA.

even when Warriors weren’t very good (which was quite often before recent run) it was an unforgettable treat to see great players doing their thing live and in person. Haven’t ever been to Chase but I’m sure it’s lot nicer venue than SF Civic, Cow Palace or Oakland Arena.

Goose eggs night at Oracle 0-0 and now the always exciting Ghost Runner time

Guess the Giants getting swept by Twins was no fluke, they are the hottest team in baseball reeling off 13 straight wins!!
