A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Easily Winnable Game

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on June 18, 2025

All you need to know about that one was 1 for 13 with runners in scoring position. Devers with a 111mph rocket to the wall gave us a nice little taste of whats to come. Hopefully, more terrible base running isn’t to come. I’m not even going to look it up, I’ll just assume that was the hardest hit ball by a Giant this season. We do not hit the ball very hard, hopefully Raffy changes that.

You know things aren’t going good when K&K can only talk about paper on the field.Though the one about the newspaper and a player cutting out a grocery coupon was funny..

Like snarkk said earlier, you have Webb dealin’ and zero support from his hitters. WTF???

Worse, this guy Williams isn’t Cy Young. Sheesh . . .

So far, Giants making this pitcher look like Bob Feller…

  8. snarkk's avatar snarkk said, on June 19, 2025 at 2:46 pm

I hope to hell Devers was vaxxed against Giants limp-bat disease before he came out to SF. He’s certainly been exposed to it. So far, looks disturbingly like he may be catching it…

Now the Gmen face their outstanding bullpen next inning. Unfuckingbelievable.

Somebody is going to have to hit a 2 or 3 run bomb to win this one…

And I cue strike ‘em out throw em out DP

Melvin does have the choke sign down on the replay look like the Giants offensive offense..

Webb wtf do I have to do not to get Cained again?

The Giants are 6th in SFs in the NL with 22. Thought I’d get that out there before the upcoming failure to score.

I don’t believe it my eyes bulged when I saw Mr.Steady Eddie rip a 2 run double!!!

Of course . . . It had to be Wilmer! Saves the day again and again and again.

  16. snarkk's avatar snarkk said, on June 19, 2025 at 3:07 pm

Wilmer takes the best, most consistent ABs on the team, all season. It’s not close. Great, clutch double by him. I hope BoMel doesn’t F him up by screwing around with Devers. No way Wilmer should play a position for any length of time…

Adames, leaving another RISP with another of his patented Ks on a crap breaking ball way outside. This guy is not a “bust”, yet. But, he isn’t earning anywhere near that massive salary, and being a great “cheerleader” doesn’t make up for his massive lack of production halfway through a season…

Nothing resolved . . . only delayed. Measly 5 hits tells you everything that you need to know. Boston another good pitching team.

  26. willedav's avatar willedav said, on June 19, 2025 at 4:49 pm

6.1 no hit shutout innings from pen last 2 days.

  27. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 said, on June 19, 2025 at 5:30 pm

Yeah that’s great they will have continue to be strong to carry this offense.Like Blade said the it’s not resolved stringing hits together ..

    • willedav's avatar willedav said, on June 19, 2025 at 5:42 pm

Offense is team wide issue. Devers by himself won’t help that. Pitching n D stay solid, only need 2 to win.

It’s not ice dancing-no style points awarded for degree of difficulty. Take W and enjoy.

  28. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck said, on June 19, 2025 at 5:37 pm

Well, hey, at least Boston is not in the AL Central. We are 2-1 vs the Al East (Yanks).
