I’m big advocate of Rodriguez too despite his one failed attempt at closing final game of series in Denver. Even if he can’t go back-to-back games Melvin should deploy Rodriguez when fresh and when not available shuffle btw Doval, Walker, Miller & Rogers depending on game situation. Simply too many failed closing stints by Doval and Walker this year to anoint either as automatic 9th inning closer.

Just looking at the rb’s who are already in the HOF I would say no. I loved Ricky for awhile and he was a good rb but there are a whole bunch of them just as good if not better that are not in the hall yet.
