On positive note Roupp has emerged as clear #3 in starting rotation past month. Question is whether his arm will hold up in Aug & Sept given innings pitched.
However, is it just me or have #’s 1 & 2 been leaking little oil lately? Ray could help tamp down this narrative with strong performance today.

Definitely big matchup for Ray vs. Yamamoto. Bailey won Friday game and scored Giants only run yesterday after single off Cy Sheehan. big bats have to do more especially when pitching held down Ohtani (0-4) Betts and Freeman and Teo Hernandez. Don’t relax vs. bottom order.
