A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Tangled In His Own Webb

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on September 14, 2025

Did they say after the game if there’s something wrong with Webb? That’s 2 starts in a row he’s pitched like shit. They all gave up runs (except Rod Beck). So maybe it just wasn’t our night. But still, Webb falling apart in September will torpedo any chance of the Giants making the last week of the season interesting.

“the ant’s a centaur in his dragon world”

it’s hard to watch Webb struggle, whether at the AS game or in a regular game. He looks so mediocre, as if suddenly stripped of what makes him good. Effective. Last night the spectacle was even stranger becz Kershaw was shitty, too. They could’ve won that game. Melvin put all his managerial magic into the starting LU, packing it with RH hitters. Then once Kershaw was surprisingly gone, he just watched as his pitchers and fielders fucked up.

    talk about ant small

Twice #9 rook hitter has gotten on ahead of Ohtani. Ray living dangerously but gets out of it again. Driving up pitch count though

This is looking like the previous two LA series, the rousing first game win followed by two shitty losses. Ray follows Webb’s garbage choke job with a performance from his early days in the league.

Hard to believe Verlander is now their best pitcher.
