A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Sweep The Rox!

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on September 26, 2025

Ok boys, one final series to wrap an absolutely dreadful season. No other way to describe it after they got our hopes up with such a good first half. And I guess there were a couple of unreal games mixed in that we’ll never forget. At the end of the season though it’s just another disappointing loser season with no post season.

We always knew we’d have to answer to the devil at some point for the #3In5 and I guess we’re in the thick of that answer right now….

If not for the early season heroics of Mr. Ed, they might’ve been eliminated around Labor Day…

McCray could be guy to add much needed speed and athleticism to Giants lineup. IF he could hit and draw Walk like that.

Lee with the 2 base error!!!! Throwing the ball into the stands with 2 outs.

We used to give Jack Clark shit for that for couple seasons.

Verlander taking the ball tomorrow as if he needs the work. The guy’s tough. Hope he gets a win.

Ahhh Big Flavor, so poignant. The perfect summary of this season. And you taught me a new way to think about this year’s journey. Blame It On the 3in5! Yeh! I like it. Highest to Lowest.

This year, man whatta ride, I wasn’t almost giddy, I was absolutely giddy. That was way, way pre-Devers, when all we needed was to get Adames going and we’d steamroll through everybody till at least the AS break. Then came Devers; I was teenage girl giddy … Pffffttttt .. the rest is history. But man, there was some strings of games (i.e. horrible home loss streak) were this shit was so fucking boring: Unwatchable Schizoid-O-Rama-Lama-Ding-Dong. And those times were frequent as the season wore on. I mean, whew! Some of those games W. T. F. ?!? BF said it best, pointing out that there were “ .. unreal games mixed in that we’ll never forget.”

There’s some nice intrigue building going into next year and I’m feeling hopeful that Buster will put a better product out there that we will be excited about consuming. Why not. If nothing he else, he has to watch this shit too.

And where is Kat? And I won’t take ‘here are there’ as an answer as it  just makes me miss him more.
