Monday Baseball
Would like to see the Phillies man-up today. Don’t really care about the Brewers game. Still don’t know how Milwaukee wins so many games but I guess they’re good. They just don’t look like a championship team to me.

Brewers haven’t been to WS since 82, right? Harvey’s Wallbangers that lost to Cards and Andujar.
Shit. Harvey Kuenn. Haven’t thought of thaat guy in ages. A true baseball lifer. Did just about everything. Didn’t realize he died so young.
I loved the Giants teams when we had Kuenn and Ed Bailey on em, they both could hit a baseball.
Cap Peterson and Ty Cline off the bench…
Don’t remember his playing days. Old but I ain’t THAT old.
I was in little league at the time and a huge Giants fan.
Had to look up both Peterson and cline. I don’t remember them.
Interesting to have 2 teams in the “final 8” who have never won the WS (Brewers at least have been there… Seattle, never been, right?). Toronto and Detroit, long time since their wins. I suppose Jays/Brew Crew might be the *best* WS matchup. Anybody but LA and NY….
Yup. No AL pennants for Seattle.
The Pilots turned into the Brewers? Why did I think they turned into the Rangers?
It does test the memory. Senators to Rangers?
Yeah, maybe that’s it.
Phils will have to score to win a game. Pen guy just gave up 3 spot in 7th.
Down 4 the Phil’s only get 1 back. After scoring 3 off Ohtani in first inning of Game 1 they’ve been outscored 9-1 in 16 innings.
Lots of chatter about Nick Hundley being the next manager. Something I mentioned on FB a couple weeks go.
I have no recollection of him being Buster’s backup, let alone winning the Willie Mac award, In 2017.
Lost season I guess.
Ironically, Posey would probably be the best fit to manage this team.
