A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Phailing In Philly

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on October 7, 2025

Well the Phillies almost pulled off a pretty great comeback. In the end they were bitches and that disappointed me. At least KC lost. Loo, they are my mortal enemy for life after taking 2 SB’s from us. Two SB’s we should have won. Had Montana been at the helm under Bill Walsh’s watchful eye I’m positive we’d have 7 right now……

Slusser said posey has talked to Hundley and Kurt Suzuki. Story on MLBTR about this, with funny (and serious) comments about other past Giants backup Cs that might be “candidates.” No one mentioned the Prez, thank god.

hundley had a pretty good playing career despite a knee injury midway through. The willie Mac award as a backup catcher ???Suggests clubhouse character. He’s obviously smart as a whip. And he knows Buster well. One seed.

Chris Dreja, founding member of the Yardbirds, passed. Cool band with interesting set of guitar players that went on to big things later on.

I was just thinking about Yardbirds. One of first concerts I saw in 1966. In Vancouver in ice skating rink. Beck & Page on guitar. Didn’t know who they were at the time, I was 14 or 15.
