Unleashing Hell…..
Fun game. I tell ya though, this Posey kid, I just never saw this in him. Hitting home runs? I just figured him for a Jason Kendall type….
Is it just me or does it seem like Torres and Franchez have lost a TON of hits over the last few weeks by hitting the ball on the screws right at someone?
Bad feeling about the game today but no biggie, we’ve already taken the first 3…..
Bummie to the rescue . . .
wot happened??
OK. 1-2-3?
PLEASE?
I’m with you Chuck.
“OK. 1-2-3?
PLEASE?”
I’ve just had it with our middle guys- Bautista, Casilla, and Runzler. Isn’t there anything worth trying from Fresno?
Pawlie, Runzler hurt his ankle swinging at a pitch. Bummie came in and struck out.
So much for that wish . . .
Whiteside adding to the kangaroo slush fund.
Wow, no 3-2 for the 1st time in 3 innings.
any graphic designers out there? We can make good money on selling t shirts at Giants games. I’ve come up with the ad copy:
Torture
Or:
SF Giants FanDom:
Torture

Posey’s doing better at recognizing when to get back to the bag.
I like Ray so far . . . .
No kidding, Pawlie . . .
Ray rocks, dude!
What a great trade for the Giants- Molina for Ray. Give Sabean his due.
Alright Ray. Lets get some more runs Giants.
That’s how you do it.
Gotta like the way that Ray has pitched since coming over in the Bengie trade.
Bochy should have started the 6th with Runzler. Why didn’t he? Bautista is more of a VETERAN.
The thing about Ray,he’s no bullshit,he’s goes right after you.
HooRAYYYY.
I agree Pawlie. Or the one I threw out earlier…would probably get a lot of action in SF:
SF Giant Fandom: Only Masochist Need Apply.
Rays’ contributions thus far already make the Bengie trade an unmitigated success.
He has some wicked stuff going on right there. Throws harder than advertised.
Andres!
THAT feels good . . .
Keep em coming.
plus I just picked up Torres in our fantasy league!
TORRES!!!!!!!! Sure needed that extra run.
Damn, that was an upper tank job. He got all of that one.
Variety news paper hed: Torres Torrid Toreador
or
Torres Torrid;
Pen Horrid
or…
Shit! Walk away from my desk for a couple and miss the Torres jack! Chuck and I need to get lost for a while so the Giants can put this MoFo in the books! Hey Chuck…let’s go grab a cold one!
we gotta be way ahead of last year’s notably untorrid HR pace
I like the
Torres Torrid.
Pen Horrid!
SF Giant Bullpen Motto: No lead is safe.
Nate, jack up your trade value
Does Ray come back out for the 8th?
or don’t leave home with it.
Ray has given a calming presence, hasn’t he?
Whaddya think of the Warriors getting David Lee? Looks like it’s happening.
Roth?
I kid. Geoff Petrie had his eye on Lee for a couple of years. What a nice player for the W’s to add to their roster. I’m pulling for LeBron in Miami. I think that thing has the potential to absolutely flame out.
Ray is THE MAN!
Ray is THE MAN!!!
Sorry ’bout the duplicate. Fucking site was telling me I was posting duplicate BEFORE I posted the first. POS…
There you go. This is the 1st I’ve seen of Ray, and fuckin’ A, baby. He’s the shizzle.
Hope your time goes well in Texas, Bengie, but this guy Ray looks like the 8th inning stud we needed.
Hey Chi, it bears repeating . . .
Stix – you’re from SacTown, right? What did you think of the King’s draft picks?
Chi, are you asking me? I think the Kings may have gotten the best pick in the draft or the worst. Given Westphal’s patient nature, I’d be willing to bet Cousins was a great pick.
I loved the Whiteside pick because there’s no risk to the Kings to get a 7 foot project – at least as long as they have Dalembert, Thompson, Landry and Cousins. Whiteside’s numbers were really close to Cousins’ out of college. They’ve got some big trees in the front court now. They desparately need a SG now.
Yep…was asking, Stix. I agree. But I do think Cousins will work out. I liked both picks.
Who did they dump to get Lee? At least he’s not a skinny, injury prone F.
He’s a fat slow F. . .
Why were the Rangers willing to part with Ray? Whatever reason, thank you and thanks to Sabean for doing his due diligence on that one. Gotta like Ray.
Rays of hope. Rays of light. Rays of just plain getting the job done in one fine piece of work. I do hope that Bochy has the sense to not overwork him.
Wow!!! Think Posey killed a crow with that one . . .
Buster!
Jesus hit the bejesus outta that ball. Wow!
The Brewers might be willing to give us Fielder, Hart and Braun for Posey – the way he’s hitting there.
BUSTER’S ROY STATUS IS MOVING UP!!
He’s putting himself in that conversation.
Chi: You tokkin to me? SacTown. Once did a Postcard and Paper collectibles show there. Hard place even in the 90’s to find a decent, modest-priced motel.
BF,How’s that bad feeling about the game going now?
Mmmm. Really getting to like that NLC pitching. Some current, as of today’s latest RP/AB stats: Sanchez: .297; Torres: 280; Posey: 312; Huff the Magic Dragon: .353. That bunch sure looks Major League to me.
If Buster Posey quoted Napoleon Dynamite in his best Jon Heder voice during a postgame interview, he would instantly become my favorite player of all time.
Sad way to end it for Hoffman. Why doesn’t he hand em up?
Add Ishikawa to that RP/AB stat gang: At 22 runs produced in 55 at bats, he’s swinging at an incredible .400 level. NO FRIGGEN WAY should the Giants be trading for a first baseman. This guy has arrived!
Yep…that Gerald Demp boy can sure play him some baseball.
I Posey was going to have some pop. Strong kid, with those big, thick legs, he’s got a perfect base for a strong hitter, and he’s only going to get stronger. That first dinger he hit last night was a bomb.
I knew Posey was going to have some pop.
dang..er, hang..
I think they said that is Ishi’s 21st PH for the year. Dude comes up cold and gets it done! Agree…fuck adding a 1 bagger…if they add anything, it should be an OFer (or, if they can get a deal on a SS).
Yup, Trevor is just a shell of his once dominant self. Maybe today is just a bit of revenge for his hbp on Robby Thompson. Our great little second baseman was never the same after that hit.
Hope Zito is having fun snuggling with his purple teddy bear in the club house. I’m sure he is kicking himself in the ass for not being able to get that last out in the 5th. The win was there for him.
Screw Hoffman. He blew a bunch of games against the Dodgers last season. Ticked me off.
Why did we bring in Wilson with a six-run lead? I HATE that move. If he truly needs the work, throw in the goddamn pen.
You have to keep your closer sharp. He needed to get into a game.
Okay, so Wilson needed the work but the first guy gets on base. Is he gonna do the Sarah Bernhardt drama queen routine on us again with this six run lead? Ron Davis once did that for the Twins against Cleveland. Indians actually won the game in the 9th and Davis was there to protect a huge lead. Well, maybe not six runs.
YES! GIANTS WIN!! SWEEP!!!
Okay…time to go kick some Nats Ass!
A 4-game sweep: That’s the best revenge of all for Fielder’s bowling-pin nonsense.
Nice 4 game sweep on the road. Cool!
Strassy vs. Cainer tomorrow. Should be a gem!
Brewers down to their last AB. Wilson must be tired of the dramatic role. Milwaukee has now become the Giants personal bitch. Looks like we are 5-3 on what first looked to be a horrendous road trip. One win against the Nats and its a successful trek. But i’m getting greedy after that June Swoon and 7-game slump and want more than one against Washington.
Two against the Nats makes it a great roadie…
Well…a very good one. Great would have been a minimum split, and more like 3 of 4 from the Rox.
Chi, I think 7-4 would be a great trip, given how it started.
