I still don’t have the hate for the Dodgers burning deep within me the way it did in the 70’s and 80’s– but last night was sweet. Casey Blake looks like a tired, old woman at the plate. Who doesn’t *love* that?

Bumgarner looks like he’s 28 years old on the mound…..

And thank God for Buster Posey. If he doesn’t muscle that single into center field who knows how long the team would have been second guessing themselves……

Just a huge win all the way around, especially on the heels of the Sunday game blown by that idiot Cuzzi. What the hell was up with his comments *explaining* his call? “Blanco made a decent attempt to put the tag on him…that’s why I called him out.” Whhhhhaaaatttttt the HELLLLLLLLL is this dumbass talking about?

Is Botchy POTG? At first I wondered if we wanted Broxton out of there, but I didn’t realize no reliever fully warmed up and going deeper into the pen was what mattered. Two 86mph fastballs in the same location to Torres. Who HOO!

Pitch must have been a bit on the outer half of the plate, enough so that Pablo went deep center and couldn’t quite get enough pull. Oh well, a two run lead after being down 5-1 sure looks sweet. Outside of Kuo that LaBumbos BP looks like the other BP: British Petroleum ~ always good for a blowout.

“Donnie Baseball” Mattingly, the interim manager, went to the mound to talk with Broxton after the IBB to Huff. When he was done, he took one step off the mound onto the grass, then stepped back onto the mound. Bochy alerted the umps that this should be two visits to the pitcher and that Broxton should have to come out. After the obligatory umps’ conference, they agreed and told Mattingly Broxton had to come out.

JBat, what happened was Mattingly came out to the mound to talk to Broxton.

Mattlingly BARELY walked off the mound. Both feet on the grass. He turned around and walked back onto the mound. Technically that’s 2 visits to the mound. So the Dodgers had to pull Broxton.
