    the only buzzkill is that, while his arm does move up and down, it doesn’t do so in the classic “fuck you-actual-one-arm-totally-hanging-down” look that was classic Hackman………

    on the bottom of the HackMan action figure it says “MLBPA 1988 China”— just how fucking long was this thing sitting in this store, Pawlie?

      maybe since 1988? By the way down, I gingerly moved the arm almost all the down but it risks de-armitation.

      I was at SFO after the parade perusing paperbacks when I saw the SI WS edition. I was amazed that it was out only two days after the series ended, but I didn’t complain and snatched one up. Made for some stellar reading while I was waiting for my flight home.

      I LOVE that shot at the front of the mag showing Edgar going yard in Game 2. One of the best baseball shots I’ve seen. I’m going to try get a print of it.
