Bummer Ending But Belt Comes Through Again as a PH
These 9th inning heroics from Belt off the bench are going down easy like a cold brew in the Summer time. Or any time. Baha. I’ve gone back and forth on the Flannery call. He might have thought Panda got a better jump than he did and by the time he started sending him it was too late to stop him. I dunno. Bochy wasn’t having any of it when he got asked the question about the Flannery-send. Of course, he’s not going to call him out publicly, ever. But even had Sandoval gotten a good jump he was dead at the plate. Even had Noonan ran for him—also dead at the plate. Ross was playing shallow and his throw was perfect.
I’m not sweatin’ the Flannery decision. He put the pressure on Ross to come through and he did. Tip your cap.

A great win by the Warriors last night and they could easily be up 2-0 right now. But Marc Jackson calling Klay and Curry the best shooting back court in the history of the game? Um, wow.
Michael, just sayin’, but recently, you are making the Flap a place that’s just not fun anymore…. Can you try to stick to baseball, about which your knowledge exceeds most others, or engage in other topics without acting like a snubbed little child anytime someone disagrees with you or doesn’t behave exactly the way you think they should? I have long admired you and respected and valued your comments here, but lately… you’re way out of line, taking comments by others way too personally. I hope there’s not something going on in your personal life that’s causing such animosity; if there is, then I’m truly sorry about that, and you know your fellow Flappers would understand. If you’re just being surly, then please consider stopping being surly. An open mind and tolerance of others is a good thing.
* edited by me.
I had originally explained why you are wrong, but I decided it’s useless. Have a good day, but just maybe you’ll actually read what actually starts this crap. BTW, Zumie apologized to me, as he should have.
Sorry to see you edited your first comment. I would have loved to see why I was *wrong*. I was just giving you some feedback, Michael. It’s possible that sometimes, someone’s feedback isn’t wrong, it’s just not what you want to hear. Anyway, you’re right, why bother. And I do “actually read” everything. Nevermind, carry on, I’m out. Enjoy the season.
