A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Winning With MOMENTUM

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on August 23, 2014

What a win last night. What a glorious, unexpected, needed win last night.

Joe Panik has become one of my favorite players and a reminder to all of us that our minor league system is developing more than just roster fillers.

Michael Morse is a beast.

Buster Posey could care less about pain and jacked out his 2nd bomb in as many nights.

I feel like this team has really turned a corner and I can finally stand behind them with genuine belief that they’ll be in the race all season.

My old man was mistaken. That wasn’t a sunset he saw. It was a sunrise.

Here’s a clip of the text exchange I had with Pawlie Kokonuts last night and today. PK was at a minor league game last night and watched Nate S play.

ODB is just wrong. What kind of “dipshit loser” would spend his Saturday on this blog.

Hope all of your are well after the 6.0. I think a few of you live up in that neck of the woods. Stay safe.

Bozo, felt that in South Bay a little, and I’m 2 hours south of there. Couple guys at least that blog here a lot closer I believe.

Watched the replay, and Tim was positively the shits. Out of first 8, 3 walks 2 hits, then pitcher with the bunt and Span with another hit. Pablo’s error and then another hit from Werth. He was all over the place, bouncing stuff in the dirt, and way off location of targets by Susac (who didn’t look too good with bad throw, etc.).
And of course when he did put one in the zone, Span and Werth cracked line drive hits.

I said before season it would be nice to see him lower the ERA another run from last year, but that doesn’t look feasible as he’s now at 4.64. Hard to watch, but not anything new.
