A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Hesto Presto and on to San Diego

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on April 9, 2015

I’ve got a lot going on today so this thread will be short. Great game last night. Super quick turn around for a 3:40 game against a pitcher that usually shuts them down is probably not what the dr. ordered. But these guys seem to be taking the same mentality as all other recent Bochy-led teams so maybe they come out strong.

We’ll see.

Great to get a 12 inning win and not have to use Petit, especially with Timmy going tomorrow.

Winner in the War of Wits: BB15 keeping Casilla in reserve till that run came in. The Bullpen Master of MLB.

Flavor is dealing with an emergency. Suffice to say, he is handling it. However, he was up most of the night and probably wont be around this evening * Consequently, you guys with editing privileges can edit the trolls.

*Not appropriate for me to share why . . . He’ll share when and if appropriate. Take care guys. πŸ™‚

Nice win. Love watching the video of Maxwell’s hit, when they show the reaction in the dugout; Pence, what a piece of work. Even when he’s not playing, he is *involved* in every pitch. Love watching him jib-jabbing in the dugout as the winning run scores. Will be even better when he’s playing again.

Nice comment from a Dodger fan:

Giants pull out games like this.
    It’s why they are champs

Yeah P/A,This team shows a lot of resilency when it looks like torture to us flappers.
They bounce back after having Kimbrel on the ropes in the 9th and not scoring, but it didn’t keep their dauber down. And making quality pitches to keep Pads off the board, till they made a mistake with Upton no-hustle on Crawdaddy bloop, setting up Maxwell’s clutch hit for the game winner..

LOL. 4 twin killings douse the Padre’s hopes. Panik and Crawdaddy have turned into one helluva DP duo. Crawford’s dive and flip to start the one DP looked like a mirror image of Panik’s in game 7. Speier and Fuentes, eat your hearts out.

Just saw the highlights. What a difference Craw makes at SS. That sick DP, and then fielding the deflection on that scorcher off McGehee and getting the force at 2nd. And how does Craw reach base that led to him scoring the only run? Error on Pads SS. All this after watching Nats SS Desmond boot away two games this week vs. the Mets.

Hey, this is a marathon season. NIce game, with a little touch of antagonism there in the 9th with Pagan and Norris. Padres have definitely upped the ante this season. I like it…

Great game. I was feeling like crap last night, and just didn’t feel much like moving, so I did not chime in. You guys pretty much covered the gamut. Love the D by Craw and Panik. Love seeing Duffy being used around the diamond (and 1B is supposed to be added to his repitoire today). Giants baseball…torture, er resiliency.

Timmy always seems to like pitching in Dago. Let’s do it again.
