Bum Taketh, 1.0 Giveth
Bum basically gave up 2 big leads yesterday. A four run lead and a 3 run lead. I know Gustave technically gave up the actual 2nd lead but he was only in there because Bum couldn’t shut the door after he was gifted ANOTHER big lead. At that point I figured we were done—even basically waved the white flag to Daniel on twitter….
And then like he’s done for most of the year, sans fanfare or accolades from most in the Giants community, our trusty 1.0 stepped to the plate and delivered.
A fun win that keeps our 0.1% post season hopes alive.

I have a good feeling about that kid going forward. Most athletic infielder we have had in quite some time and for a 160 pounder, the dude has some power.
Agree! I like the kid a lot, too! I was reading an article on him, and it was said that he is equally good at 2nd and SS (major league tools…not just a utility guy).
Dubon &Davis should both be starting the rest of the way, but we all know that won’t happen under the Boch watch..
Yeah AK, just those 2 guys give me a good feeling about next season. Couple that with all the stopgap moves that Mr. Z made this season (Pillar, Yaz, Solano, Dick, etc.), I’m fairly well convinced that the off season wont be a yawn fest . . . and just maybe, we’ll actually be competitive during the entire 2020 season. Regardless, I’m definitely not bored like I have been before Z came on board.
Yeah that’s for sure Blade, Zman has no problem making decisions on players, up/down all year looking for combinations after his shaky start with Conor Joe/Reed,Krispy Kratz etc..
Then he just pulled off the major heist of Dubon&Davis at the deadline for are floating turds 💩 the guy is constantly thinking ahead!!
