A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Unexpected Outcome

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on January 12, 2020

Weird, wild stuff in Baltimore last night. Just like Greenlaw stonewalling Hollister and setting the seedings on fire, Tennessee has done just about the same thing by knocking out the Ravens. Some dude bet $420,000 on the Ravens money line last night at -420. Would love to hear his thoughts today. Or how he went about telling his wife. On second thought there’s no way that guy has a wife.

I guess I’m rooting for Green Bay today because they’d be easier to truck than Seattle. But part of me really wants to fly over the Seahawks dead corpse on the way to Miami.

KC gets a freeroll there now, right?

Too soon?

That drop by #17 was a killer for the Seahawks.

he’s like their #5 receiver. But Wilson knows where everyone is, always. Perfect pass.

The dude is frustrating, but amazing, too.
Rogers came through in the clutch. Heavyweight QB match, that one…

Day von tay Adams #17 pride of Palo alto HS coming back to the roots. Big TD. Rodgers is tough but so glad not to have to face Wilson and co again.

No way Pack is going to play same type of offense as their first visit to Levis. They’re going to have Rogers throw quickly to avoid the sacks. JimmyG has to avoid the dumb picks, and Niners just need to gash on the running game, they should be fine…

Eat shit Seattle! I’m almost happier to see those fucks lose than I am to see the Niners win.

when you see it spliced together like this after not seeing it for so many years it’s really striking how the game has changed.

      Not just the game.
      Every fuckin’ thing…

Stop Davante Adams and you stop the Packers. I’;m not that worried about the Packers defense. We should be able to run all day on them.

All about the mistakes. Jimmy has a good job recently of limiting the turnovers. Except for the pick in the 2nd quarter. That first drive was perfection though. As well as the 8 play 8 run drive.

Green Bay didn’t do shit last game here.
    Adams 7/43 yards receiving
    Jones 3/38 yards rushing
I don’t expect they will be that bad again, but a banged up team , one less rest day, and travel, I like the 49ers chances..

It was interesting seeing Saleh moving Sherman around yesterday. He played slot corner a few times and was lined up on the right side 4 or 5 times after pretty much lining up as LCB all year.

Do you guys realize how great Pat Mahomes is?

    • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 said, on January 12, 2020 at 8:35 pm

I don’t think the 49ers want any part of Mahomes in a SB matchup. They could easily stack up on Henry and force Tannehill to beat them. Not likely.
But Mahomes is just like all the other great scramblers(Jackson,Wilson,Allen) which causes DC nightmares, plus Mahomes has a shitload of receiving options. But WTF it’s the SB and you should go up against the best team.KC/49ers would definitely be that, and the ratings off the charts as well! Yeah make it so Captain Picard!!

I gave up on my Chiefs at 14-0 today.
Now I can’t see anybody beating them.
    I’m a very sick man…

KC is supremely lucky that Baltimore is gone. Much like we are now that the Saints and Seahawks are gone. KC should be able to fly past the Titans no prob. Problem is, KC’s defense is a sieve. I think we can stop them more than they would stop us, should we both get that far.

Mahomes is scary good, but I think we can rush him into mistakes. If we get on top of them like Houston did, we won’;t give up that lead Would be a great Super Bowl that’s for sure.

Mahomes vs. Garoppolo is like Kareem vs. Henry Finkel…
