A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

Unexpected Outcome

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on January 12, 2020

Weird, wild stuff in Baltimore last night. Just like Greenlaw stonewalling Hollister and setting the seedings on fire, Tennessee has done just about the same thing by knocking out the Ravens. Some dude bet $420,000 on the Ravens money line last night at -420. Would love to hear his thoughts today. Or how he went about telling his wife. On second thought there’s no way that guy has a wife.

I guess I’m rooting for Green Bay today because they’d be easier to truck than Seattle. But part of me really wants to fly over the Seahawks dead corpse on the way to Miami.

KC gets a freeroll there now, right?

Too soon?

I used to hate Richard Sherman. And if he was still with Sea I’d probably hate this clip. But I absolutely loved it. Give this man some respect. It’s interesting, he seems to really need the recognition. Otherwise, why would he be so passionate about this?

I have no idea if all that stat talk is actually true.
If it is, and I assume it is, then I have no problem with that; I believe in “no brag, just fact”…

He hasn’t had a nice rant like that as a 49er. He has been fairly low-key. His debut so to speak. Even before his injury, he got a lot of flak for not being a pure press-man cover guy.

    • unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck said, on January 12, 2020 at 10:41 am

Sherman’s a pain in the ass, and he’s our pain in the ass jnow, but the “You mad, bro?” deal with Brady had me laughing for a week.

Even the exchange with Crabtree in the playoffs made me laugh, as Crabs handled it well, but the rant to Erin Whatsherface was silly.

mm I think chuck is right–less mobile the QB the better. If you can take away Jones and running game like they did to Cook yesterday, getting to Rodgers is way different. That first time around was a thrash, he couldn’t do anything.
Plus if it turns out Seattle can’t handle snow and GB, all the more props to Greenlaw who effectively sealed their doom. I can use his name forever to shut up seachickens fans for good.
The Tennessee Tuxedos lol that was awesome. Vrabel who outcoached Belichick last week made Harbs look dumbfounded when things went awry.

watched late game Oregon at home vs. ASU. In the house was premier scorer Eddie House to watch his freshman son Jaelen come off bench for Sun Devils. Pops was local guy out of Hayward HS, who set bunch of records for Sun Devils. Supposedly he wanted to go to Cal Berkeley but they wanted him to go to JC instead.
Couple years later he put 61 points on them. 10 years NBA career, lifetime .390 from 3.

Big mistake by Ravens by sticking with an obvious banged up Mark Ingram.Should of used Gus Edwards more and established the run early on.Edwards had 3 carries for 20 yards??Why were they sticking to a pass game so much early, which isn’t their strength?
Greg Roman got schooled last night by the Titans!!

  6. unca_chuck's avatar unca_chuck said, on January 12, 2020 at 10:25 am

Lamar Jackson threw 59 passes. Unreal. But the big lead by Tenn made Balt panic. They were flustered early and it carried over for the last 3 quarters. That’s on Harbaugh giving up on the run game too early.

Tell ya one thing, the 49ers have made a lot of double digit comebacks over the course of this season. I’m not positive, but I don’t think Balt ever had to do that.

  7. alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 said, on January 12, 2020 at 10:52 am

Their was a time awhile back when a lot of people wanted the dinosaurs Fangio&Roman running the show with the 49ers.Sure glad that never came to fruition.More then thrilled having a offensive genius /HC in Shanahan and a fiery DC in Saleh who players would run thru a wall for. The new wave coaches like the new wave QB’s that can scramble is the future of the NFL..

    21 – 0.
