    The guy Giants got for Coonrod was someone Phils drafted in 4th round but who didn’t pitch 2020. Rated 30th best prospect in their system, fwiw. there is MLBTR column on the deal but most of comments were political and non baseball related.
    One twitter response to original thread posted yesterday re: Coonrod to Phils, was “He had 10 ERA he’ll fit right in.”

        Phils pen apparently was historically awful last year, so I guess they figured he has some potential and can’t be much worse than who they were going with. Obviously the draftee they gave up wouldn’t be of much help either for a few years…would be cool if this were another under radar Z steal for Giants.

    Interesting early game this morning was most evenly divided among picks. Most everyone has Saints, Browns-Pitt closely divided too. Few had Rams yesterday, which was great outcome. If they can beat Seattle with wolford and Goff, gives me hope SF can beat their asses next year with G/competent draft pick QB.
    would of course be nice if they could hammer Wilson like Rams did!

    On 3rd down he had all the time in the world and just threw a short pass to a guy who was totally covered.
    That was probably the play call, but he was too stupid to see it was going nowhere and he had time to look elsewhere…

      Didn’t see that play, but this does happen a lot especially with those quick sideline throws, like the one that blew up on Wilson yesterday. The QB might fake throw to opposite side of field then make the designed throw the other way without even looking over there to see if D is gonna blow the play up for loss or worse.

    Steph scored 38 and the Dubs won 115-105.

    I’m gonna watch Warriors hosting Raptors, who drafted SD St. star Malachi Flynn. He got 12 off bench for them the other night when they scored 140 blasting the Kings.

    They also have Chris Boucher…I loved this guy at Oregon, 6-10 who could hit corner 3s, block shots and drive the hoop and dunk. Warriors drafted him sent him to G League in Santa Cruz and there were some undisclosed personal conduct issues and they let him go.
    He had 23 and 10 in that Sac game and seems to have found home with Raptors. another hmmnn for Warriors and their draft picks/developments. They kept Jordan Bell and dumped this guy?
