Not only did Reggie Smith climb into the stands he was gutty enough to sign with the Giants the next year. I’ll always remember him playing 1B for us against the Dodgers, whenever Sax was on 1B and they threw over, Sax would always dive back in and Reggie would put his knee on his back and lean into Sax as he tried to get up.
I think the nickname Log Dog has about a zero chance of taking off, but what do I know?
