Speaking of Facebook, or social media in general, some people out there have started something they’re calling the Herm Cain Awards. They gather anti-vax social media posts of people who later died of Covid-19, and make a time-line narrative out of it.
There’s a similar progression to the deaths of these people.
1. They post a bunch of anti-vax and anti-mask memes, and ridicule the virus.
2. They catch Covid and post messages about how they’re not worried about it.
3. They get very sick, and sound very worried.
4. Somebody else posts that the person has died, and often includes a GoFundMe link to help the person’s family.
I went to the site for a little bit, and I think the main thing I took from it was seeing documented what memes the anti-vaxxers are sharing with each other on social media. They are way crazier and more bizarre than I would even have guessed.
I have no empathy for these people. Not anymore, none.
Because they don’t give a S about me and mine, nor you and yours.
Plus, their idiocy and misinformation and/or outright lies spread on the airwaves or online no doubt has caused others to get the Covid and die…

Uncle of mine, in his 80s, retired in a nice Tenn suburb. Got vaxed asap. His next door neighbor, an elderly African American guy, like my uncle a retired, well-educated biz exec, still hasn’t taken the jab. Try to understand that man’s fear.

Giants are on both their own regular network and ESPN.
The Dodgers travel to St. Louis for four games. The Cards have to do well to have a reasonable chance at the second Wild Card spot. This is the season right here for the Cards. Go Cards!
