Ok, can we please wipe the floor with Detroit this series? We are better than them. Just do this. No fiddling around, just do it.

I see we have a 2.9% chance to make the post season.

I’ll take those odds. What else do I have to do?

    Things get more serious after Giants leave Detroit, facing teams in midst of real playoff or division battles–Twins Pads Phils (who might have Harper back by then) and another meet up with LA.
    Meanwhile, couple dumpster dive moves to get pen depth. Ken Giles have anything left?

    Everyone remembers Tigers had Verlander in 2012 WS, but how many remember that their Game 4 starter was Scherzer?

      I thought he started one of the middle games. Fister I remember started one of the middle games for the Tigers, can’t remember their other starter.

      Now I have to look this up: Game 2 MadBum vs. Fister; Game 3 Vogey vs. Anibal Sanchez; Game 4 Cain vs. Scherzer. So three of the four Tigers starters are still active.

    Pablo tore up that entire post season. 24-76 overall. 8-16 vs. Detroit, only 4 rbis to go with 3 bombs. But he had 16 other hits in 2 NL series before that. And .426 career for SF in 3 WS.

        Mac Yaz on 1b, ball hit deep to Rf and OF guy caught it in foul territory just before he bumped into wall in front of stands down the line (not in front of RF wall). He pivoted took a step and then gunned down Yaz with one hop throw trying to advance. clearly out too.

    Not many guys in today’s lineup I would miss, but Rodon is definitely one. Through 6 and he’s blowing 97 heat right by Tigers, Cabrera included.
