He probably viewed getting Estrada back as some sort of trade-like move. Supposedly Harrison will get called up at some point. And Haniger…..oh god it’s just all so positively boring to even think about.
I am of the opinion that we all only have so many baseball seasons left to root for in our lives. That’s hard to argue against, right? So why not try your best in every one of them?

Whenever I see anyone texting with both thumbs it makes me sad. People must spend so much time texting to be able to do that. But lots of people do it. It’s the world as it is, not like my old geezer idea of the world.
It was 2012 or 2013, while in Ecuador (Quito) I realized that this was probably the last time I would see people actually talk to other people – in the parks, squares, coffee shops, and restaurants . . . Fast forward today, name me one venue, city, park, coffee shop, etc., where more people have actual conversations versus the mindless, robot/trance like, tapping on phones you see everywhere today?

Yankees lost, and Boone got tossed and made an embarrassment of himself. He’s a relentless ump-baiter, and he knows he’s getting fired at the end of the season. He should try to end the season with some professional dignity, if he has it in him.
Seems most Yankee fans and media here blame Cashman way more than Boone who seems to be a puppet and analytic slave. Always backs his players, FWIW…
