A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball 
Wouldn’t be surprised to see the Snakes take this game. They have been very resilient when pushed to the edge.
Something that makes it harder to address football accountability too–layers of coaching staff below head guy. Individual players have more direct contact at practice time or in meetings with position coaches I believe, of whom there are 8-10 not counting special teams. Above them are the co-ordinators and their assistants. Then head guy/play caller at top who also has to deal with med staff every week to determine who can practice and play/who can’t.
Well, there’s the DC and the position coach. In the D line’s case, it’s Kris Kocurek. It doesn’t go any further than that. Wilks’ background is as a defensive backfield coach. I wish they’d make the move to replace Wilks with Kocurek now. Moving Wilks to the field isn’t gonna make his life easier.
Add another (hopefully topline) starting pitcher to Z’s shopping list; looks like Cobb is getting hip surgery and will be out for awhile…
Baggarly thinks it would be too “harsh” to buy him out at two mil and move on. Wtf? Might as well sign Crawford for a farewell tour and extend Slater to back up Haniger for two years.

Kocurek was pretty adamant he didn’t want to be the D/C he liked the less pressure of being DL coach hence the Wilks move,but who knows it could be a possibility if it’s offered to him again but I’m sure the Niners will stay with Wilks, but I like the idea of moving him to the sidelines instead of the booth!
