Gimmie More
You wanna talk about bumping up the excitement meter? Gimmie more J-Lee whacking the ball all over the yard. Gimmie more 100 MPH CHEESE outta J-Hicks. Gimmie more M-Chap showing off his magnificent oppo-power. Gimmie more T-Murph who literally rolls out of bed ready to hit like a man.
Honestly I could do with less of blowing a 9-1 lead to a 9-6 lead but whatever, a win is a win.
Finally we have a reason to watch this team again…..
Agree with early season enthusiasm but Daulton Jefferies? Happy Easter one and all.
I’m also loving Lee’s routes in center, direct and smooth.
100%
175 runs scored yesterday in MLB. 7 different teams got at least 9. Story from Shea says Conforto has been working with Bonds and Bonds should be around at home stands.
Winning today would be a nice statement to begin the year especially since the Dogs are next. Definitely fun game yesterday but we have to close out games better than that.
Rook who homered off Camilo in just his 3rd ML AB, Graham Pauley, is 23. Spent last year in minors at 3 different levels topping out at AA Ball, hitting 23 HRs total. Other guy who homered E Rosario is 24 and starting CF Jackson Merrill is not quite 21 yet (B day april 19), drafted 2021 in first round. Pads trying to save $$ amid budget constraints.
Great D yesterday! Fun to see balls hit in infield and assuming it will be an out vs hoping!
Got to say, digging Chapman’s defense. We look much better defensively than last year. Though that bar was prettty low.
Saw story that said Matos admitted he played too deep last year. Giants working on his first step and getting used to playing more shallow. Hope he gets some time in OF before Yaz gets back and more roster moves are made.
his difficulties reading what’s happening in front of him affected some of his other plays too. But I thought he improved with experience. Speed of mlb can be challenging in various ways I guess. I like Matos tho.
Infield Defense is so much better on the left side when you add Chapman’s 4 GG’s and Ahmed 2 GG’s along with Estrada a potential GG as well. It will probably weaken when Luciano gets called up eventually but his power bat could make up till his defense eventually comes around.
Real nice to have a versatile player like Fitzgerald on the roster as well with his speed and multiple positions he can play!
Agree with Loco about Lee he takes great routes to balls and is the perfect table setter as the Leadoff hitter! Conforto Red Hot is really good to see as well! This team though early in the season has me excited to watch, and the SP lights out so far is quite encouraging and Snell hasn’t even thrown yet..Big early test coming up with the Doghairs but screw them keep it rolling!

Probably just trying to light a fire under him…
Z must be annoyed to see himself as the source for dumpster divers now.
A good friend of mine taught HS science to Tom Murphy — not the science of hitting, but still. (That would be physics, right?)
Correction: taught him chemistry. Well, team chemistry has some value, though not all that much, per James.
I would love to be taught chemistry by Brie Larson in her epic TV series (Apple TV) in “Lessons in Chemistry “
I enjoyed that series, too. Our game chemistry today is IMPLOSION.
Bart,Wiseman and Lance
Bay Area Bust for the Ages!
Watch. Bart will go all Mauricio Dubon on us.
unwritten rule, right? Let an opposing player break his neck diving into your dugout.
Fuck the Padres. That is complete bullshit letting a guy go headlong into the dugout like that.
alright Wilmer! Now bean the next padre batter who comes up bases empty.
well bases are empty now.
This stiff was the best available option to start?
They should have let Bart pitch.
I was thinking the same thing.
to be fair, i have to admit that kapler would’ve pulled his crappy opener sooner. Mid first.
Well I wanted the Giants to make a statement today, but just not this one.
“We would’ve preferred to have signed Snell sooner.” “Our BP is one of our worst Achilles heels.” “Still lots of baseball to play today.”
White flag pitchers today,If their still here tomorrow I will throw up 🤮
What’s the deal with Keaton Winn? Saving him for the Doghairs?
Counting the 9th last night, that’s now 17 straight runs allowed.
17 straight in Brooklyn, too…
Lol, what a day for my teams.
@susanslusser
Jefferies had some left hip discomfort and will be evaluated again tomorrow.
oh so that’s why he came out?
now if someone can just explain why he came IN
I thought Daulton Jeffries was the Phillies catcher 25 years ago.
Picked the right day to miss the game I guess.
