This Has Been a Bust(er)
I was complaining to a buddy at work about how shitty this team is and he goes, “But Flavor, didn’t you support Buster’s moves at the time?” Touche, Keith. I did. But I’m also not President of Baseball Ops. And the buck has to stop somewhere. For whatever reason all the moves he made didn’t work. He wanted to build a team of “a gritty grindy bunch.” He just wanted a team of guys like himself and his mates he won 3 in 5 with. Well, it’s a nice thought but clearly also hard to replicate. So does he have a Plan B? Because building a team in his likeness hasn’t worked.

The moves were fine but not enough. Lack of pitching will kill this team even if they start hitting.

He’s a classic — 90 per cent mental, other half physical.
Dom Smith now hitting..395 with 3HR’s(Walkoff Grandslam ,3 run double Monday to take the lead in the 8th)and 15 RBI’s but the Giants had no interest in bringing him back along with an easy upgrade on defense!
Agree about the pitching with Chuck. Giants easily have the worst Starting Pitching in Baseball with no guys that consistently hit 95 across the board where most teams have flamethrowers hitting 98 on average..
And the worst outfield in baseball sure doesn’t help either..
Amazing how the teams hitters all seem to be connected like some hive mind stranger things shit. They all suck at the same time for such long stretches. Then they have a game a week where it clicks, then back to collective sucking!

Arreaz biggest surprise is his defense. No Errors!! We all knew he can hit when you win 2 batting titles and always puts the ball in play, he needs to be the leadoff hitter full time!
And a 2-0 lead do miracles exist?

Arraez biggest surprise, for me, is how hard he plays in every aspect of the game, while enjoying it tremendously. He knows what he can do and he does it, consistently, with an impressive combination of discipline and passion. His range at 2B is limited, but within that range watch out. He’ll make the plays. AB, of course, his work came renowned.

Watching the highlights. Arraez is pretty solid out there at 2nd. Hell of a DP to get De La Cruz.
