Very iffy- his winning percentage would be what gives him a shot. But I’d say he needs 50 more innings…

I’m fine with his low win total, but for me, you have to dominate at least a large % of your generation. And he never won a CY, so he’s a “no vote” for me.

Agreed, they should have gotten more reprimand. How does an experienced ump crew not enforce the rule that a reliever has to face at least one batter? That is umping 1A. Did the manager say that the reliever hurt himself?…
It seems like the Giants were giving Peguero a little window of opportunity to seize the leftfield spot and he just didn’t do it. He may find playing time a lot harder to come by for quite a while.

At Casa de Zumie we kept dinner very simple tonight. Chicken pot pies from Cosco. They’re Marie Callender brand, and very tasty.
At Casa de Clown, Pork chops and cornbread stuffing. Sierras earlier, Myers and OJ now.
If Peguero is just here to be the 5th OFer, they should have left him in Fresno, IMO,. Juan Perez is a pretty good player and he’s a 4/5 OFer not a potential starter.

At Casa Paul (this morning), breakfast is mueslix with bananas and soy milk, washed down with a cup of robust VNmese coffee. How great to see a crooked numbered inning for the Giants for a change, especially against the likes of Hudson.

It’s like a restaurant here many nights. I made Merna a Salmon filet with a lemon-caper sauce, a salad, and new potatoes. I’m having a salad, new potatoes, and a couple lamb chops..

The californian yankee in Queen Elizabeth’s court went all “cattleman’s feast”. Down to the butcher’s and a thick cut steak, cut fresh off the slab, that ran to almost 3/4 lb. grilled, rare, peppered and melt in my mouth good.
Luckily there was room on the plate for a nice group of steamed veggies and washed down with fresh ground coffee.
Cain amiably taunting Upton, now that is pretty funny.
Well, last night I grilled up some new corn (very sweet) with my steaks. Just got some fresh sea scallops and last Friday had my first soft shells (restaurant, not at home. I hate cutting the face off of a live crab).

Curry and Thompson were 6 for 23- on two pointers, many close in. They were a combined 6 for 14 on treys, the rest of the team only attempted 5 treys.Curry was essentially doubled and the Spurs put Leonard on Thompson, the defense on those two was the key for the Spurs.
