The Giants Can’t Hit. Reaaaallllyyyyy?
I was watching ESPN early this morning. They were showing highlights of the Dodgers losing again. After that, the talking heads got together and blathered out a theme of “the Giants look like they might be in trouble.” One of the guys said it with a sly looking smile on his face.
That’s really some great insight, Jerkoff. The Giants are in trouble? Why? Because they lost their first post season game in their last eleven? Actually, his reasoning was “The Nats look like they’ve finally got their pitching in order.”
Really? The Giants have scored 6 runs in this series. I think the Nats pitching has been “in order” since Game 1. Anyone with a brain knew the Giants were going to be run-challenged in this post season. The Giants can’t hit? Jimmy crack corn and they don’t care. Did Flavor really just drop a “Jimmy crack corn” on us? Fuckin’ right I did. I’ll throw any pitch at any time……
And I don’t need some ESPN dickhead in a suit telling me what the Giants shortcomings are. The team knows what they are better than anyone. It’s probably one of the things that fuels them.Because I guarantee you that the views of dipshit blowhards on tv go a long way towards motivating our players. And sometimes, that type of motivation can go a long way.
Gio Gonzalez is nobody’s big game pitcher. I’d take Voggy and his raggedy-ass arm over him any day. Sprinkle some nails over your Cheerios, dawg, and go get ’em……
I feel like the Giants will need at least 6 runs to win the game today.
I think they’ll get 7. I hope it’ll be enough for Vogelcum.
I think you just made ODB get hard
Agree Loo, It will be a Vogelcum duo today and runs will be at a premium, so I say we do need a LU change for extra pop and have Susac ketch, Belt in LF for Ishikawa and Posey at 1st .And if we had another option for an anemic Blanco I’d have him out as well but we sadly we don’t.
I agree
Vogelsong tops his enchiladas with glass shards and red sauce.
Yes…hoping Nicole’s batch last night was extra special, and help propel the Orange and Black into the NLDS. GO GIANTS!
Fuck Yeah, Brother! Love your energy this morning…great post.
Not a bad call Kat on getting Susac in the line-up. Even if Bochy stays with his current line-up, at least get Blanco the fuck out of the one hole. I suggested last night that Panik lead off, and slide MudBug into the two hole. Move Blanco down to the 7th or 8th slot.
I am not a big Ostler fan, but thought this was a good piece on VogelStrong. Yeah, I am expecting THAT Ryan to show up today for the Orange and Black.
http://www.sfgate.com/sports/ostler/article/Vogelsong-s-Game-4-start-could-be-his-Giants-5805562.php
Serious pressure game today…
Posey can’t play first for the simple reason that Belt is not going to LF at this stage of the season.
I like the Panik leadoff idea. Maybe BB9 in the 2 hole over Craw.
I also wouldn’t completely discount the longshot possibility of Brown leading off and playing CF.
Yeah, I agree about Belt to the OF, Loo. Belt in the 2 hole isn’t a bad idea, either. Crawford, through all his trials and tribulations this year, has actually done pretty well at the bottom of the order, considering that down there you really don’t get a lot of good pitches to hit.
5 reasons why it’s a good thing we are playing tonight:
1. We avoid the possibility of getting complacent waiting around for the other series’ to end.
2. Vogy. Love him, hate him. Think he’s decent, think he sucks–whatever. It’s great theater watching him pitch and I’m fired up to see his intense ass start another huge game. His track record in big spots is pretty damn good.
3. There’s nothing like a big game on The Flap and the 6pm post time allows most of us to be on there.
4. Belt could probably still use some AB’s to get fully back on his game.
5. Now we’ve got something to look forward to tonight. Life is worth living!
I second all 5.
All in favor? Aye…
Yeah #3 is the one San Dawg.
Rather scream at my TV, then tossing a radio to the ground!
Nobody wants to go back to Washington even with Peavy going so let’s freakin doing it tonight!!
Lot more post and good MOJO tonight with the later start!
Agree with DJ, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Brown lead off and in CF but Bochy may play it steady and roll the same LU out there. Who knows? Pressure is still on the Nationals. They’re the ones facing elimination.
Gonzalez hasn’t pitched in the PS since 2012 and he’s got a 4.5 PS ERA and 1-1 coming in. Vogelsong last pitched on 26 September so he should be well rested and ready. I like the Giants chances with him taking the pill.
I don’t see them going with Brown to start a game. Blanco, even with his struggles at the plate, has the experience, and has a proven glove (especially in clutch situations) over Brown.
Yeah, I don’t think we’ll see it. Especially with Bochy giving Blanco props in the post game but I wouldn’t be surprised by it. Maybe a late switch to Brown if Blanco can’t get anything going at the plate.
There needs to be some kind of shake-up of the batting order tonight. The 6 runs in 36 innings this series so far gives Bochy total freedom. I like the idea of going Panik and Belt to start the batting order. Blanco does better lower in the order. But I also wouldn’t be surprised to see a different outfielder in there tonight. Possibly Brown in center, Blanco in left; or Brown in for Blanco. It would be great to get Susac in there tonight, but they’re not going to stick Belt in leftfield at this point in the situation.
I think Ishi sits for Brown tonight vs. the lefty…
I can see that. Get more speed in the OF and possibly on the bases.
Man, this is getting sketchy to me. The good news to me is at least we have Peavy in the wings should it come to a (*gulp*) game 5. But with Vogie, unlike Bummie, you get the pen ready halfway through the 4th inning. He has NO leash. As tough as he can be, he usually runs his pitch count way up pretty fast.
That being said, I’m guardedly unoptimistic. This game scares the shit out of me.
Stephen A. Smith (not his biggest fan) said that if the Dodgers lose this series, Mattingly should be replaced by Ozzie Guillen. That would be interesting to say the least.
I don’t buy the Belt in LF being that big of an issue. You move him to first late in the game as a defensive replacement anyway. Hey if Morse was healthy, he would be out there, so it could be worse.
Good point, Wilco. I mean really, Ishi is no better a choice than Belt in LF, IMO.
I don’t see Belt flubbing the back up of that bad Bum throw yesterday any worse than Ishi did. Sheezus, what was he doing out there letting that ball get by him? That cost a second run…
Can’t blame Ishikawa there. That was all Bumgarner.
Voggy’s rested, he’s motivated, he’s been through playoff pressure, yada yada. Ok, fine.
Bochy still has him on a choke chain tonite…
I don’t see Bochy taking Blanco out completely, not after Blanco had to run down some long outs last night and with Vogey going tonight. Just get him out of the leadoff spot, especially against lefty Gonzalez. Either go with Pence-Panik or Panik-Belt to start the lineup.
Looking forward to seeing the return of the Vogey playoff death stare. Last we saw it, the Tigers and Cards were left cowering in the dugout.
Bingo. Bochy will put Blanco down in the order to 7 or 8 where he performs better. I’d like to see changes to get one or two RH bats into this lineup, because LHPs are death on the squad. But, I don’t see how they get Susac in there. The LF situation has been a killer most of this season, and it’s biting again…
Well, you would get Susac in there by moving Buster to 1st and Belt to LF.
My preferred choice on the line-up shuffle is Panik and Belt at the top, Blanco down to the 7th spot. MudBug in the 8th.
Agree. No way can they afford to lose Blanco’s D, regardless of his lack of a bat. I think the Susac behind the plate, Posey at first and Belt in left is the only logical lineup for tonight. I am not as concerned about the order of the lineup.
It’s pretty remarkable the Giants are in the position they’re in.
No Pagan. No Morse.
Ishi and Blanco starting in the OF for NLCS games? And, we’re talking here about maybe Brown would be a better choice for either one. Step back and think about all of that. It’s from necessity and hope, but maybe more than a little crazy to think this squad can win with those guys as 2/3 of your starting OF…
Yep. This club has no business being in this position but as I believe you have said ‘WTF not the Giants’.
Humm Baby.
Yep and I must say with the surprise performance of the kids (Panik, Susac, Strickland, etc..) I feel ten times better about our future than I did just three months ago. I am sure the front office feels the same way.
I don’t see them moving Belt to left field unless it was an emergency situation. Belt doesn’t even shag balls in the outfield during batting practice. If he misplays one ball badly out there it would be a disaster and I don’t see Bochy taking that risk.
Moving Blanco down in the order is the only thing we might see today.
Yeah, good points. Which asks the question of why wasn’t Belt at some time during the year at least taking fly balls in LF? I mean, come on. He’s a pro athlete. Catching fly balls and practicing picking up base knocks and throwing into 2nd and home, etc. isn’t exactly an unnatural activity for a baseball player. Could it be that hard to at least practice that for emergencies?…
I guess we’ll know soon enough but any shuffling would have to somehow break up the L,L, L at the bottom of the LU and that doesn’t happen by moving Blanco. Switch him and Pence (or Belt up to 5 or whatever with Blanco further down) and you’ve got L,L,L,L. Assuming Ishikawa stays in. This is why I think maybe Brown makes it in. Anyone but Perez.
Intersting all the spins on the line-up. It will be good to see what the 3-D Chess Master rolls out there for a line-up tonight. Bottom line, I trust Boch to make the right call.
Belt took that called 3rd in the 9th yesterday, which he has a bad habit of doing. I know he was looking to walk and put the tying run at the plate, but when it’s that close, you’ve got to protect. Anyway, the kid is 7/17 in the playoffs with an OPS at 1.008. He’s hit the most of anybody. I wonder what this team would have done had he been healthy all year. Maybe enough to win the division…
Many have kicked-around that thought, including me. Very well could have been enough to propel us to the division. Him and Crazy Horse healthy all year…definite division winner.
And I know that Pagan has not played a full season for a long time (if ever). Will be interesting to see how the surgery all shakes out for him.
Had Belt not been injured (twice) and kept up a pace even vaguely close to that of April, batting third, he would have walked away with the HR title and SF would have won the West.
Speaking of managerial scuttlebutt, I heard it from a friend who, heard it from friend who, heard it from another that the Dodgers have been messing around and putting feelers out to one Johnnie B Baker regarding possibly managing the team.
My source on this is actually fairly legit despite my lame REO Speedwagon intro.
Kills me you guys are talking about Brown getting a start. Doesn’t he have like 3 AB’s in the big leagues at this point?
I hope the dodgers hire the Lizard. He’ll blow out all of the arms on that staff clearing the runway for the Giants for the next 5 years.
Yeah, agree on Brown. I think at the end of the day Bochy will go with the even keel approach and roll the same LU out there but come on man rosterbate!
REO Speedwagong…very cool.
Meanwhile, until the line-up is announced and first pitch…we’re all just “Ridin’ the Storm Out.”
Maybe we need a shot of “Bachman Turner Overdrive “”Takin Care of Business” In game 4!!!
As Billy Preston sez: Nothin’ from nothin’ leaves nothin’.
I wouldn’t do it, mainly from a defensive standpoint, but I would be down with dropping Blanco in the order.
I could dig on
1. Panik
2. Crawfish
3. Posey
4. Pablo
5. Pence
6. Belt
7. Ishi
8. Blanco
9. Vogiemeister
Transpose Pence and Belt or move BB9 up to third and everyone else down a peg.
Yeah, Bochy doesn’t really have any better RH options. Arias for Crawford? Weakens D and offense is a wash. Perez for Ishi? Improves D, offense worse. Belt in LF? He’s a GG 1b who hasn’t played LF since???
Brown in CF leading off? He can’t hit a curve ball and Gio has a damn good one.
Move Blanco down and the bottom half is Craw Ishi Blanco P.
Heck, why haven’t they worked Arias in LF?
So, I wouldn’t be shocked if they go with the same exact lineup again, in essence saying to Blanco, we have faith in you.
Cuz if they win, they will desperately need him going forward.
Otherwise, I’m guessing Pence Panik Posey Pablo Belt Craw Ishi Blanco.
Other concern is Pablo hit just .199 this year RH.
Wonder how his ankle feels this morning?
At what point does Sandoval just hit LH full time? I think he could muster a .199 lefty against lefty.
I don’t konw. He only has four lifetime PAs as a LHB vs. a lefty. 3 PAs, one sacrifice, and 2 Ks.
Lifetime he has hit .271 as a righty.
yeah, I’ve seen that too but he seems to have really fallen off from the right side.
Erp. What he said . . .
Pablo used to be pretty good RH. Just not as much power. He fell of the table RHed this year.
We need a lineup shake – up and drop Blanco down. Do we go Pence back to lead-off? Posey at first and Susan with a start…Belt in left?
I would go
Pence
Panik
Posey
Belt
Panda
Crawford
Susac
Blanco
Voggy
So pure r-l all the way down and Crawford moved up because he has been solid against lefties
GHead – this has been sliced and diced every which way above. Take your pick…there are about one hundred different possibilities thrown-out there by FU…
Yeah I was running errands and took a quick draft before being able to read comments
Wow, all kinds of things going on here. Yes a great start time. all Giants fans will be ready. Over on KNBR this morning, they talked about the Belt in LF, Posey at 1st and Susac in squat. But they brought up a rookie catching Voges in such an important game. So that is probably a no go. They did ask about moving Panda to the 5 hole and Pence in the 4.
All I have to say is Lets Fininsh this. GO GIANTS.
*Mystery solved- Bochy hates Brown because Gary once gave Brett a hot foot
* Bochy is one mean dude- when it’s Brown’s turn to pick a straw, Bam-Bam distracts him while Bruce pulls out the short straw packet
* Maybe the guys were tired yesterday. You know- Kim Hudson and all that..
* I think MadBum’s mistake was understandable. Ever try to make good decisions when your snot rocket gets stuck?
* 6 start time? Gives Vogey extra time to work up a good game sneer.
*Tony Bennett is being trashed at the Merc blog. Next they’ll be going after McCovey. Geez, give the man a break, he’s a hundred and twelve, for God’s sake.
*OK, I know you want an update on the cats. Even if you don’t you’re getting one. I’ve finished naming them-except for the one for dinner tonight.
Cat gut? going to restring your violin??
The one for dinner was Stew . . .
I was going Sashimi
Homefront hitting bluuz. Simple solution. Do it today. Bad juju with the corporate name of the venue. Change it to Willie Mays Field and i guarantee you the hex will be lifted and our road warriors will hit on all cylinders.
Stix – I really like your posts, but on this one (and you have run it out here a number of times), what happened to that bad JuJu in 2010 and 2012? Also, it has not always been an offensive drought with that name. A couple of guys named Bonds, Kent, etc. used to knock it all around the “the phone park,” regularly. And look, I am not a huge fan of THAT corporation, but that deal has been signed, sealed, and delivered (to the tune of about 50 mil, I believe), and as much as we all want the place to be called Willie Mays Field/Park, it ain’t happening. And I really do not believe the deal affects the team, etc. But carry on, sir, you do knock out some eloquent posts.
After much thought, I would bet Pence leads off and I have a disturbing hunch that Perez starts in left…
There is ZERO chance Belt plays LF in 2014.
I think that you are right on all 3.
It makes sense, right? Perez (although he sucks) for Ishi at least adds a righty bat and some speed. Also improves OF defense. He did hit a line drive recently, too.
Pence is the only realistic upgrade with speed and leadoff experience. They’re not gonna take Panik out
of his comfort zone at this stage of the game…
Yes, Perez starting would be disturbing. I would rather go with Brown because, although he’s extremely inexperienced at the MLB level, he’s already shown that he knows how to get on base with his speed, and Perez has never shown that. Brown could (theoretically) scratch out an infield hit or a bunt hit or both, and that would be far more offense than Perez is going to provide. Sure, Brown could 0-fer, but Perez is pretty much a guaranteed 0-fer.
Perez is also a run saver.
Donnie 2x is going to roll the dice and start Ethier in place of Puig.
That’s pretty nice for 2x to look in his clubhouse and see Ethier and Van Slyke as extra outfielders, compared to the Giants’ hobo-camp bench.
Let’s hear it for the HCB!
Hobo camp bench? That is classic! I seriously just laughed out loud. The two ladies I am working with on this audit probably looked at me and said “WTF???”
You’re right Loo. Perez for Ishi.maximize the D behind VSong.
Yeah, plus Ishikawa’s more valuable off the bench. And Perez is a lifetime .313 hitter in the 7 hole.
It has to be this:
Pence RF
Panik 2B
Posey C
Sandoval 3B
Belt 1B
Crawford SS
Perez LF
Blanco CF
Vogelsong P
Yep, the only thing under .200 about the Panda is his right handed BA…
For this year. Lifetime it is .271…
And after all the heated discussion here’s the LU
Blanco CF
Panik 2B
Posey C
Pence RF
Sandoval 3B
Belt 1B
Crawford SS
Perez LF
Voglesong P
Maybe Blanco can do like Spam yesterday, snap out of his funk against a Lefty. He did have 2/hits against Kershaw recently.
Gregor is hitting over .290 overall against lefties. 248 against LH starting pitchers. .
oh joy. Perez in LF
Blanco
panik
posey
pence
pande
belt
crawfish
Perez
vogie
It is fucking amazing that we lead the series with these stats (must say something about our pitching, eh)…
http://mlb.mlb.com/stats/sortable.jsp#sectionType=st&elem=%5Bobject+Object%5D&tab_level=child&click_text=Sortable+Team+hitting&game_type='D'&season=2014&season_type=ANY&league_code='MLB'&statType=hitting&page=1&ts=1412715794562
Oh, in case you were wondering, team ERA is 1.50 and WHIP is 0.86.
I am surprised that Panik is hitting only .133. That has to change sooner rather than later, you would think…
Having Ishikawa off the bench may help late in the game. Perez has to do something eventually. Right?
They say that a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut….
They say a blind man can also open a pair of blinds while listening to Blind Faith.
Blind Faith. The first true Super Group, and still an all-time favorite of mine.
Was that blind man, by chance, named Blind Melon Chitlin’?
Perez has to do something eventually?
They said that about Velez when we was on his oh for 48 streak or whatever it was for LA. Then he was DFA’d…
Even Eugenio ‘Huggy Bear’ Velez caught fire for a bit.
Let’s go DeadBirds!
BEAT da bums!
Rather than wonder why Bochy won’t play Brown, why not wonder about Brown himself ? Duvall has had playing time, Dominguez, Duffy, Susac, Panik is now a regular. Even Perez is just past being a rookie. I know that some fans still think that Bochy is a dolt, but even given that he can’t possibly want to lose. That Perez is hitting so poorly actually lends credence to the notion that Bochy has good reason to not play Brown.
With pedestrian minor league numbers and reportedly not being receptive to swing coaching Brown certainly hasn’t done anything to distinguish himself. Perez’s past numbers suggest he should be performing better. I think his confidence is just shot after not having success this year. Maybe a hit or lucky bounce of a ball in play turns it around for him. Who’s better defensively? I have no idea.
I have not seen enough of Brown in the OF to say, but Perez does pretty well out there from a defensive standpoint.
Maybe Perez can run into one…he has shown glimpses of having some pop in his bat.
Agree, Chi. Perez is good defensively and has a plus arm. Haven’t seen enough of Brown either.
Brown got a bunt hit and a hit through the hole in the only game he started, or maybe it was two separate appearances. He scored a run from first on a double, and caught balls in the OF. I’m sure Bochy has his reasons, but they aren’t evident to me why Brown is a worse choice than a guy hitting .167 or whatever it is, and looks absolutely clueless and overmatched often at the plate. Perez may have a better throwing arm, but I don’t know for a fact, and the last time I remember Perez throwing home, it was a wildass throw…
I think he had a bunt hit and then a hit over the mount that didn’t leave the infield. He is fast.
Not surprised about Gary Brown lack of playing time Twin.
Hell Bochy never played Buster as well when he 1st came up, always going with Big Titty to the chagrin of Flapper Fans.
LOL. How soon we forget. Yeah, forgot about titty getting the nod over Buster when Posey first came up. FU was ready to storm the palace…
‘Thanks for the mammaries’ was one of the best POTD.
Bengilena is rumored to be on the short list to manage the Rangers…
I think Titties would make a good manager. Most catchers usually do…
Well, we can all debate The Chess Master’s choice of Perez over Brown, but I trust Bruce to know WTF he is doing. I am ready to get the fuck off work, have a cold one or two and watch some ball.
Let’s Roll!
Yeah, and comparing Brown to Posey is rich stuff. My Mom could hit .280 in the PCL
Yeah “Let’s Get It On”
So ready to slam some cold beers Chi, and watch the Giants spank Gio and the Nats!
Gio= Game Is Ours!!!
Me too, Kat! There is a Lagunitas IPA I(or three) with my name all over them. Plus the sports bar next to the hotel is loaded with fine babes that work there. Their “uniforms” can make a man howl at the moon!
Huh. Doggers benched Ms. Puiggi for today’s game . . .
Wow, that’s pretty wild. Elimination game and Puig is benched?
Donny 2Trips maybe going out with a bang?…
Ms. Puiggi…love it Charlie. Fuck that POS.
Kershaw going with 3 days rest. I guess you have to do that, but has short rest ever been a good idea? I guess the old geezers would say short rest – big deal – get out there and pitch. Those were the days when Gibson would pitch 3X in a 7 game series, and guys would throw 160 pitches a game. Doesn’t seem to work these days…
Seeing as Kershaw’s getting shelled on normal rest in the playoffs, why not?
BF was dead on yesterday (I think) saying Blanco, with his speed and from the left side, no less, is an idiot for not bunting more. What leadoff guy constantly pops or flies out and doesn’t even try to slap the ball around at just about every chance? This guy has to get on base tonite. He has to find a way…
I saw a quote by the Shark, and he was fessing up to that, and agreed that he is making too many fly ball outs. No shit, Sherlock? Lay down a fucking drag bunt once in a blue moon.
He doesn’t try to make fly ball outs and if you’ve been watching, he’s attempted several bunts in the postseason. He’s constantly tried to change his approach- it’s not easy. Several other guys might join him in the “changing room.”
BTW- Pagan 5 for 81 on fly balls. Blanco 9 for 98. I doubt that either of them try to do it.
Blanco is not an idiot.
Fucking Opie (Kershaw) being Opie…one hitting the DeadBirds through six. Fucker!
So much for short rest…
Yep. Opie must be a throw-back…
They are going to ride Kershaw til his arm falls off. The Dog pen is dog shit.
Inspired by Loo: http://tinyurl.com/qe8m2g2
Got to Kershaw again. Stunner
Yep…three run bomb off of Opie. WHOOT!
BEAT LA! BEAT LA! BEAT LA!
Matt Adams is a LHH…maybe a good omen 😉
I turned the Cardinal game on going into the bottom of the 7th. That Adams smash was a thing of beauty. Same pitch that Belt watched for strike 3 in the 9th last night.
Where are the Dodger trolls when we need to bombard them with blasts????
I’m out for now, boys. Off to the room to change duds, and then off to Half Moon sports bar. Bartender…
How did the audit go?
Lost Again in the playoffs. Bye bye Bums.
KER-TAINS!!!
Bums suck over – rated shit team
Damn Cards can never be counted out. 24th in Runs scored…29th in Hrs…and they hit some big ones
So who replaces Donnie two trips?
Shit, I hope he somehow keeps his gig. There’s nothing better than having a second rate manager running the show for those guys. It’ll be tough to find someone with the stature and the respect to take that job. With most of them with 100+ mil deals, they’re not looking to get managed, they probably feel like they run the show. And you could see that the other night when Kershaw basically shoo’d Mattingly away when he came out to chat.
Dusty Baker is a possibility and I’d be fine with that, too. Dusty seemed about done last time I saw him managing the Reds.
Cock-a doodle-suck! Rooster!
Sorry. Anyhow, in the words of Pink Floyd, the dogs are dead.
Just got to hold up our end of the deal.
Enjoy the game, folks.
I imagine Rooster is going to be on a record setting dinner tonight–might last all Fall and through the Winter.
Woke up and did my exercise routine . . . All the time thinking about the Cards and Bums game. Just saw the results. YES! Where are the trolls now????????????????????????
Who, I guess we’re on the same schedule, huh…. 🙂
LOL. Yeah. Nice to wake up to Doghair bad news. Only thing better is GMen good news.
Um, that should’ve read “whoa, I guess we’re…:”.. Go Giants!
7:55am Wed. morning, Saigon, 5 minutes from actually amazingly wonderfully being able to watch the game here. Feeling good about today, mostly because they really should win it at home and not have to go back to DC. Score early, boys, knock Gio out by the 3rd inning, on we go. Great to wake up to the Dogs being done.
With Dodgers eliminated, the team w/the top payroll has only won 4 times in last 20 years (Yankees in ’96, ’99, ’00, ’09)
It’s tough to BUY a championship! You’ve got to EARN it!
Dodger blue losing……..damn that feels good!
Buh Bye bums…
No to some REAL baseball!
Let’s Get it On!
Orange and Black Forever – GO GIANTS!
Wilco, in answer to your question about who replaces Donnie Two Trips . . . I recommend they follow the Sherpa template and scour the LA high schools. Certain to find someone equal to Mattingly.
Unfrickingbelievable. My schedule is clear and I can watch the game in my hotel room. Who’d of thought I would be watching a live baseball game in a Communist country we were once at war with? Boggles my mind.
That is pretty cool.
Vogey has to take advantage of the umps low strike zone.
Agree, big time, Wilco.
Whew…fucking elevated pitch count again…
Singles are fine but how bout 3 run bomb
Need a quick 3 up, 3 down…
Let’s take advantage of this boys!
I had Gonzales on one of my fantasy leagues. Shit like this is his MO. Fucker was up and down all season, except the last month or so. I would love to see the Giants shake him up in this inning. He is definitely susceptible to the BIG INNING.
