Cleveland: “Well, that was easy…”

_________

Today’s #FreeStix! RPOTD is brought to us by the Jan 25th, 2015 thread. It’s short but I liked it because pitch forks and hoe’s are found in the same backyard tool shed and the image of him shaking a pitch fork is nearly as good as him shaking the hoe. I would have liked to have been a fly on the backyard fence as Stix was trying to decide what gardening tool to shake at the Feds……

STRIKE ONE on the new commissioner. If he backs the Dink Hitter rule for the NL that will be strike four and time for torches and pitchforks.

Um, which Cleveland? LeBron blows out Bricks with a triple double/GS gets blown off their own court by Pop and the new look Spurs. It’s only 1 game but I think Pop and his team (many contributors) wanted this one a lot more and answered every run with an even better one. Hmmnn.

Roberto Perez…didn’t someone here say Tribe reminds them of Giants 2010? Good pitching timely hitting from lesser knowns. Cubs top of order 0-11.

Realize it’s spilt milk, but seeing dominance of Andrew Miller in another uni bugs me.

Miller struggled last night. Will be interesting how he gets used.

I have a hoe and pitchfork at the ready if the dildos running our game institute the sissy hitter in the Sr. Circuit.

Hey xoot – thanks for the Stix update last thread. It is cool you are tracking this. Free Stix!

Well, I know I am probably in the minority here, but I am still rooting for the cubbies. But, as I have said, I (like most of us here…Charlie being an exception with sisters born in Chitown), have no real skin in this series, but going Sr. Circuit.

What a pitching clinic by the Tribe. Miller has some nasty shit and was able to work through two bases jammed situations (the first with no fucking outs).

I think the Cubbies bounce back tonight (or sure as help hope so). With all that said, I sure like the way the Tribe plays the game, too, and will not be too hurt if they win. I mainly want to see some good, clean, exciting ball…and a series that goes down to the wire in the 7th game.

And I know how much you guys care – Sharks win in OT! Go Tiburones!

I believe this is the first Stix “pussy on the bed” reference:

Flav:: Players and fans don’t have it too tough in Green Bay for their little skirmish. HIGH temp here tomorrow in the Northwoods of Manysnowta is 21 BELOW. That’s not considering the windshield factor with balmy breezes blowing at 12-15 mph. If predictions hold, it’s gonna seem like Miami Beach here by Friday, though, with temps up in the plus side of twenty. Next 3 days will be a bit of a struggle, though. My woodboxes are jammed for our 30 below tonight. Tomorrow morning will feature pussy all over the top of my bed as those little beasties are heat-seekers and also go for soft places to hang out. It may be a task just to get out from under cover so i can get up and feed the stoves.

You entered the Flap HOF first ballot for this find

Pretty solid that this is the first reference since you led off the next day’s thread with those epic last two sentences.

    LMAO…Hey – who doesn’t like a little pussy on their bed…

I wonder if Stix issued any strikes to the Feds as they were buzzing him?

I count myself among the heat-seekers, though I have no pussycats.

Looks like the Dubs are getting all the teams that they beat in the playoffs. They may start 0-2 at home. Didn’t they go 39-2 at home last year?
