2-2
Ken Giles gives me massive Santiago Castillo indigestion. That guy….I don’t like that guy.
Now we’re back into the pit of misery, dilly dilly, facing Kershaw. At least it’s in Houston. What a huge game, this is over if they lose today.
Also, what a great series. This has really lived up to the hype that so many series fail to meet.
There’s a lot of teams that are going to struggle to catch up in the juiced ball era.
Off top of my head – Pirates, Padres, Giants in NL.
This WS now tied with most HRs ever in a WS = 21. Tied with? 2002 Giants v Angels in 7 games…
That one, the players were juiced. This one, it’s the ball …
The walks just drive me nuts!
Devenski is a classic junkballer.
Emphasis on “junk.”
If U ask me if I prefer a 2-1 nail biter vs. a 12-11 bombfest, so far, I’m not sure I don’t prefer the latter…
Preferably in under 5 hours . . .
Puig hit that with one hand and off the end of the bat. This is ridiculous.
fooled, and of course coming in 2-20.
Fucking ridiculous.
Yep, this is Arena Baseball.
Ha, good one.
A team with no closer.
Why would anyone want to pitch next year if this is the ball they use? But go Stros!
Get high 90s gas in the bullpen and hope for strike outs.
They may need to move the fences back at AT&T.
Only when the oppo hits…
Jeeeebus. Hanger right there.
How the fuck . . .
The walk was the biggest killer.
A World Series team with no closer. That’s pretty amazing.
Maybe the Astros can manufacture the winning run…
Reddick is useless.
Gurriel defected from Cuba in Feb 2016.
Astros signed him in July 2016 — 5 years for $47.5 million. That’s essentially bargain territory these days.
Houston pushed him through the minors ASAP, he was up in the Majors on August 21, 2016 and never looked back; he’s been hitting the crap outta the ball since then.
Why don’t the Giants grab a guy like that?…
Technically, he’s not a honky.
The Giants’ scouting system:

Again, I think it’s the juiced ball, but I would love to see Kershaw tagged with this loss and his diminished legacy.
Even the outs are hard-hit by Turner.
Sheezus, have the Stros defense gotten even one inning 1-2-3 this game?…
Gattis swung at ball 4.
Why would a low ball hitter like Gattis swing 3-1 on that?
The trainer came out just to break Jansen’s rhythm, I bet…
It worked!
YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Great move to put in the Pinch Runner for McCann…
Stros Win !…
YES!
yeah! I got your 50 mil closer right here.
Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Astros All the way!!!!!!
What a game and I’m drained!!
Would Bochy have pinch run for Buster at 2nd right there?
I doubt it…
Astros!!!!!!!!!!!
$80 mil but who’s counting. Astros hit everyone Dodgers have thrown out there tonite.
LOL. Jansen another face plant. Kershaw – wrongly or not – will be crucified tomorrow by fans and media. Love it!
Yep, Kershaw crapped out again.
But, so did everybody else…
Fireworks going off in the San Francisco district section of Saigon.
Let’s pray this is a soul-crushing loss that destroys Kershaw and Jensen for years to come…
Jansen does not even look like the same pitcher…I am betting the ball is a factor not letting him throw that cutter. How would Mariano Riveria pitch with this ball???
“Yes, I’ll have seconds”
This sumbiitch ain’t over.
SF was up 3-2 when they went back to Anaheim…
Indians 3-2 last year going back to Cleveland.
Holy shit! What a game. Definitely one for the ages. Now that is some entertainment, especially with the bums losing!
Wow!
It’s entertaining and it’s riveting, but it’s not baseball anymore…
Agree Loo. Only consolation is that the Dodgers may lose this series. Regardless, I don’t see how the Giants can ever compete.
Well, with Verlander pitching in LA at night, some semblance of normalcy should return.
Not classic in a baseball sense but the way both teams kept coming back after gut wrenching scoring from the other side was impressive. A fun game to watch. Kershaw wetting the bed again was great. Guessing no tweets about having more quality starts than madbum right:)
Astonishing game and great result. But who wants to see this every day, 162 times?
I almost start to feel a little sorry for him, and then I remember he’s a Dodger.

He seems like a good guy. I’d take him on our team…. feeling empathy, if not sympathy, is a good thing… 🙂
“FOX Sports: MLB
@MLBONFOX
Clayton Kershaw is the first pitcher to ever allow 8 HRs in a single postseason.”
Whoa!
Both of these Pens are pitching on fumes. Stros because they suck anyway, Doghairs because Roberts has totally mismanaged them.
Add to the mix the Titleist Tour DT they have to throw, and it’s time for the HR derby every game…
I’m all for more HRs, especially on the Giants. But that was ridiculous.
“Brandon Morrow’s pitching line was impressively bad. In 6 pitches, he gave up 4 hits including a double and 2 HRs and also a wild pitch.”
If MLB is going to force teams to throw a super ball all season, they’re going to have to add 2 or 3 bodies to roster and make it a 28-man. The Pens are worn out by mid-September with just 25…
Heh heh, said that after game one . . . ! It really is nutty along with these bandbox stadii, you throw in a ball that travels 20′ further and the 90 HR season is coming.
LA Times Kershaw epitaph. LOL

Plaschke tossing a flower on the grave . . .

That’s not fair: Casilla was great for us.
You should have said Benitez, now that’sa big meatball type of indigestion!
