I read that 4D view adds algorithm-generated transition frames to smooth out the revolving view. So it’s not necessarily an accurate record of what happened. (Maybe that’s why the 4D show of Panik’s slide the other day suggested he was tagged out when other video views didn’t.) So it’s a fucking gimmick.
Wow! I didn’t realize that, but it makes sense and more important, yes, it wouldn’t be 100% accurate if it’s based upon an algorithm.
apparently they use 140 cameras and their software synthesizes it all almost instantly. Even entertaining AI is scary.
