Rolling back into town yesterday, I listened to the Giants get shut out by the underwhelming Brett Anderson. Zero runs. It was definitely great to hear baseball on the radio again but this is precursor to the 2019 season. Pffttttt…..

Surprising most high seeds survived. all 4 #1s #2s #3s plus 2 #4s still alive, 14 of possible 16. Other 2 are Auburn #5 plus Oregon. Still could have all SEC or all ACC or all BigTen final.

    ha. Haven’t done one in ages. Have a feeling it’s going to come down to teams/programs I can’t stand. Used to do contest with friends at this point of 16–pick final 4 with tiebreaker being who wins it all. winner got steak dinner courtesy of losers, but lost touch with friends years ago.

I would have been in good shape if Duke went ahead and lost. But think Michigan State will take care of them when they meet…well I will say Farhan does have a complete different approach than Sabes/Evans…that should indicate a vastly improved farm system to come…

Yeah we’re snatching every catcher you never heard of in baseball!
Murphy could be a perfect Giant, he doesn’t hit!, he can throw out runners at least,on par with ml avg 28% kind of looks like Aaron Rogers if that means anything?But he could turn into a small Nugget, due to being a high pick (3rd Rd) by the Rocks and he’ll he’s “Only 27” 12 years younger then Krank! Probably a AAAA player to start, but now with ty h options since the Giants didn’t trade for him..
Still don’t get why the Giants keep rear ending Aramis Garcia ,who should clearly be the backup catcher right now?
