Do you guys remember the “I feel Good” SF Giants campaign from the late 80’s? It was pretty goofy and never really made much sense. Here is a 4 minute clip of the outtakes, some of this is hilarious.

Unca redeemed himself a little with the Buffalo score. Chi is all by his lonesome at the back of that bus. Need some big scores today or Mr. Sports Dude will lock up the overall total score. Me and the Clown have a big time interest in Clev covering.

Too bad they didn’t have James Brown tune playing behind it, great bass line, Maceo Parker yada yada.
In MLBTR story about Dave Stewart making offer on A’s stadium are lot of comments about where A’s should move. Seems inevitable unless ownership sells; their new yard will never happen and they aren’t into redoing present digs as economically viable option.
Used to be totally against it, but San Jose would actually be perfect for them. Weather is better, fanbase is intact, plenty of $$$, depending on where new yard would be transit likely an easy way to get there.

Anywhere else seems like a reach.

  younger brother to Otis, who used to hit leadoff with Braves in early 90s. Also got suspended. Bay area radio guys Lamont and Tonelli used to do skits talking to “Otis Nixon’s grandmother.” Stole 620 bags in career, high of 72 with Braves. That was high pitched rivalry.
  Do remember Craig calling back to back pitchouts once and nailing him trying to steal 2b.
  Good to see Craig in that first vid, thanks. Sure was a force here, and who always claimed if thrown properly split will not cause injury at any higher rate than other pitches.

He never hit much but always liked Jose Uribe in that group. 89 was like his worst season ever, hitting .221 with OPS under .600. Post season totals for 87 and 89 he actually hit for .250 average.

    Had my share as well Winder.I knew the whole Davenport family growing up.They lived in San Carlos, went to high school with Jim’s sons Randy,Gary,and Don, played little league all the way thru high school baseball then on to many years of playing Softball and beers together lol 😂 Great family , I felt so bad for Jim’s awful season of managing and the razzing the son’s took for awhile.He might have been a better manager if that whole team did not have such shitty down years all together.Then the next year Clark&Thompson came up and everything changed for the better, timing is everything..
