They had to claw their way back from an early 2-0 deficit but they came out on top 5-4. Quite a night to be a Pickles fan, let me tell you…..

Defense might have been his best game of the season. AS caliber all around.

ump was awful for both sides and it did help giants running up pitch count for Espino. Casali had helluva game; likable guy good to see him hit. Gausman and DeSclafani (not in that order) this weekend should allow pen guys to rest. where’s Beede and black shoes? white ones didn’t help the Tennessee Vols look.

Anybody think Gausman might be pissed deep down that he now can’t pitch in the A/S game his home state?
He could of pitched like 5-6 innings today and been eligible to pitch an inning in the game..
Hell they could even go with Beede on Sunday and make it a opener game ..
