I turned the game on yesterday the moment Webb threw that dinger ball to Schwarber. Irritating. I do appreciate Kap giving him the chance to get his first career complete game. I still think Kap needs to get his shit together regarding his protest-plan. But whatever, I honestly don’t really care what he does—just would appreciate it not being a distraction for the team.

We hit the pool and did not know the game was on mlb channel but does not make a lot of sense pushing Webb past 100 pitches just to get a complete game.
But here is a trade candidate idea for the Flap. Josh Bell with the Gnats. He signed just a one year deal so cheap will cost very little terms of prospects. His power is down this year but Gnats suck and has been below average temps until this weekend. His OBP is good and he did hit 27 dingers last year and switch hitter. We know will get hurt again and Bell much better defensively than Ruff or Flores.
Belt will get hurt again later in season. Bell also may be worth a look for potential signing for next year.
How good will this Dubs Celtics series??? May be most intense series since what Bulls Suns in ‘93? I don’t include Subs Cavs in 2016 because that was stolen suspending Dray for Game 5.
Pirates pinned an L and Blown Save on Kimbrel last night with 2 run rally aided by Freeman error for comeback 6-5 W at Latrine. Pirates built 4-0 lead off Buehler then watched their closer blow a save as Dogs rallied for 2 in bottom 8th to take lead.
LA started Pillar in CF. He stayed in as Lux came out of the game and ended up in LF, went 0-4.
Casali got all of that one, well done.
Supposed to be 97 in Philly today and 90 tomorrow. Despite bombs Webb had pretty good line and didn’t walk anyone. Nice to see SP ready to go 9, all too rare these days.
I’m typically against signing left handed power hitters because of our park but I wouldn’t be opposed to picking up Bell. Problem is, it’s just not really how Z rolls. That type of pick up is a little too high profile for him

Once Slater is ready that should mean Walton goes back to Sac, Estrada becomes more of 2b platoon and Ruf is more of DH only guy and he needs to get going before being moved farther down bench. Kap has tried to give ABs to other AAAA guys like Padlo Vosler and Williams without much success. Gonzalez has hit OK but doesn’t show much aptitude in OF.
Casali and Longoria homered off RHP, so did Flores and Joc has hit LHP too. There are times I think Kap hamstrings himself by overdoing the L/R platoon thing over 1 AB. Without Belt and Wade he doesn’t have enough good bats to play around like this as often as he does.
Been out of the loop on Giants games cause since Friday( no cell service which is nice for a change)it was a 3 day wedding extravaganza for my lovely daughter Callie and now my son in law Matt,as they were getting married in a beautiful setting out in a huge campground setting and beautiful wedding ceremony in the Redwoods out in LaHonda not to far from the ocean.
Friday morning people were coming in from NY,Vermont,Texas,Ohio,Hawaii, staying at local hotels are even at the campground houses that accommodate plenty if you want to rough it , not for me lol I go hotel.I paid for a food truck on site and everyone enjoyed the food,and there was beer and wine and champagne.There was a huge grass field, that was setup for kickball,cornhole,genga,frisbee toss, horse shoes etc.Everyone was having a great time, listening to music,dancing just mingling around meeting people for the first time as they invited 135 people!!
Saturday..I just arrived early around 10 am as all the bridesmaids and Callie were getting the full treatment of folks getting them all made up ( like 4 hours plus lol) I hung with the groomsmen, Matt and his Dad while we had a box lunch and passed around an 18 year old single malt Scotch ( sure helps calm the nerves).Took a bunch of pictures next, then onto the wedding ceremony as I walked my beautiful daughter down the aisle in front of a packed crowd of family, relatives,and friends..
Then it’s all party time from there!!
Sit down dinner catered by Horn Barbecue out of Oakland who are up for an award along with other catering’s in several states for best food.. I can attest the smoked brisket, chicken,Turkey,all the side dishes were awesome!!
We all ate and drank first, then it was my turn as the leadoff speaker for my daughter’s speech 🎤 no pressure right? Took a few deep breath’s first and after thanking everyone sitting from all over the country then to the officiant Josh (Matt’s brother-in-law,who was awesome marrying them as a first time officiant.Some kind words to my ex wife on well she did such a find job raising are daughter, thanking Matt’s parents, then Matt, and onto my Daughter’s speech with plenty of emotional moments, I got thru it ( hell I’ve never done speech talking before)but a lot were tearing up with joy as well and said you did a great job..
Then all the pressure in the world is off of your shoulders and you can just cut loose and PARTY 🎉!!
Father/Daughter dance I picked out was called “This Dance “ and the DJ to my surprise from Callie’s mom and her had a video of us dancing in an Aladin when she was 4 wow that was special as the audience clapped in approval!! Ok I rambled too long, sorry for the long post, Alleykat ( Its actually Bob don’t think I ever mentioned my first name before) Let’s kick ass and get a Giants victory tonight for the newly weds who are huge Giants fan as well.

About half the time, Bart looks he’s deciding whether or not to swing before the pitch is thrown. He was being clever on the 2-0 fastball by not swinging at the slider off the plate he was anticipating.
Watching Yaz can drive you crazy but no doubt he is the best hitter in the lineup currently:(
