Tough Start
A day to clear our heads from that disastrous opening week. Now we head to San Diego were we have played pretty dreadful the last few seasons. This has gotten ugly, early. But hey, at least we score 1 run on Saturday. That’s one in the bank, baby. Woo hoo!!!!!
A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball 
The difference between the Yankmees and the Giants K count this past series is that even though NY had slightly more Ks, they hit home runs, which the Giants did not. That’s critical in this day and age of MLB. You can have tons of Ks and the resulting low OBPs and BAs, as long as the sluggers hit quite a few out in between the Ks. The Giants better get their homer machine going this season if they’re not going to improve their contact hitting over last season…
Absolutely. Although a low OBP will put a dent in the run production. The Yankees will not have a low OBP, even though they’ll be whiffing a ton.
