2010…2012….2014?

Well, if heart and soul have anything to do with pitching, I like our chances today. And having watched Strasburg pitch a number of times, I’ll take the fire and moxie from Peavy over the robotic pitch counted Strasburg.

As we know as much or more than any baseball fan, anything is possible. If you had told me when I started the first Flap blog over at blogger.com (as a joke because the Splash blog kept crashing that day) that 6 years later two Giants fans who didn’t know each other would meet at my blog, become proud members of a supernova known as “Flap Nation” and one day meet up in Ho Chi Minh City for a “knowing dude head nod”, I woulda called you crazy….

And yet here they are yesterday (Blade on the right, PaulinAsia on the left with the peace sign):

Kinda called it on Strickland as i saw that top of the order coming up in the sixth and Peavy likely running on fumes. Why BB15 brought in Lopez in a pressure situation i do not know ~ probably memories. Having the Strychnine kid available made all the difference in the HIGH pressure occasion. Hall and Law may also be in next season’s pen. Good young arms who can shut em down pronto. YES!

  Overreliance on heat. Happens a lot with kids. He’ll get some severious coaching time come ST. With Gardner and Righetti around that should work out okay.

Woke up at 5 fucking 30 in the am because I knew the Giants were leading. Almost had a heart attack as ESPN was loading, as it showed Harper’s photo on the front page . . . then relief as I saw the 3-2 score. I’ll take a nap this afternoon. Get some more runs GMEN!
