Kershaw! Bumgarner!
…..and cue Romo’s laugh track. I really need to see a video of this. I’d settle for a gif. I watched it live but now that I can’t find it anywhere on the internet I feel like I need to see it again to really let the *mosaic* of it wash over me. At the very least I’d like to get a Romo laugh track and play it whenever I see something stupid or absurd unfolding before my eyes…
Five back of the Dodgers. One back of the Mets. One UP on the Cardinals. About the only thing that’s remotely plausible is that the Cardinals go into Nepal and get blasted and watch their pitching staff implode. Even if that happens we still have the ongoing problem of sucking and even if we get a lead Bochy will just give it to Santiago GasCan and up in flames we go.
This is the worst September for baseball I can ever remember. Total let down.
Regarding the Crue….Kickstart My Heart is far and away my favorite Crue song. I’m not sure how anyone could listen to that and not get stoked to go do something.
If anyone’s interested, here’s my post on the last three games. Great talking with y’all over this series and best of luck as far as it doesn’t interfere with the Cardinals making the playoffs. 🙂

Daniel…great job. I said coming into this series to you that my guess is that most of us Flappers were expecting/hoping for a split at best. My eyes avoided the SAT meltdown of our pen and I largely ignored yesterday’s game for the NFL. And not reading the Flap yesterday, I bet most were distracted by the NFL and that tells you everything you need to know about what the Flap Universe thinks of this team. In past years in 3 World Series runs, a September Sunday would have been Giants first, second and third on our minds. Now we are looking for distractions to avoid the car wreck…I think all of us who at least we had a lead Saturday had thought we had 3 wins locked up. So this team keeps up the grand disillusionment we have suffered this second half..
Well said. I can follow the games I just can’t seem to watch them from start to finish. Either they suck and can’t hit at all or they blow a lead in the 9th. Either scenario is unwatchable.
Amen brother…and I forgot to play DF yesterday…but thankfully my parents visit has come to an end and they are in the way back to SFO..
Zum, I hear you about AGon. With Hanley finally gone he seems like biggest thorn in Giants side.
Also from what I’ve read before is closest to Puig, tho often still exasperated with him like everyone else.
Giants will see best of LA rotation, Opie Hill and Maeda…none of the kids.
@SD–I was talking to my godson’s little brother about Chargers and new stadium deal for Spanos.
what’s up with that?
He said he is looking into flying down there for Raider game, as he and is brother are big Raider fans. Said it’s almost like a home game because the LA Raider fans are there too.
I understand every player goes through a crappy slump where it looks like it will never end, but how in the hell does a team go from scoring runs pre AS break, to not hitting at all? I understand the BP implosion. But the hitting has me totally baffled.
I attribute the missing Romo video to Baer’s dastardly meddling. He probably had the inter-webs scrubbed of the evidence or something. Not a lot of confidence heading into the series against the dodger but hey surprises are nice.
Cards pitching and pen held up, as Giants scored 2 runs total in last 2 games after blasting away first 2; very disappointing end after great start to the 4 game series..
Diaz kid hurts Giants again, seems like real find. Interesting to see what Cards do with rest of IF, Peralta Wong and 1b around Carpenter.
Meanwhile Mets send Thor vs. Braves SP who is 0-6. Braves have played well lately beating Nats twice in a row, but still they are the Braves. Mets have won 20 of their last 30 and 7 of last 10—much better records than either Cards or Giants (13-17) over stretch run.
Btw, the SJ Merc did redirect Baggs blog but it is still readable (with same bloggers filling up comments) at mercurynews.com.
Despite all signs contrary, I predict the Giants will sweep this series at the Latrine. I wouldn’t bet that way, though…
At least we aren’t facing their kid pitchers.
Willie–I don’t follow that stadium issue very closely, but I think it is on the ballot in November and if the people approve it, then they move forward with it. Probably several appeals and lawsuits before a shovel goes in the ground even if it does make it past the voters. The Chargers IMO were pretty cocky and difficult with the city of SD until they got awarded 2nd banana status in LA and then they came crawling back to SD with hat in hand. Kinda funny, I thought.
A lot of us poked fun at Terry Collins’ reading of the riot act to his team, and his roasting of them before the press a few times; but hey, the Mets are showing life. Meanwhile, Bochy mumbles his way through press conferences talking about bad breaks. I’m not saying Bochy has to be Collins, obviously Bochy is sporting three rings to Collins’ none; but maybe Bochy could mix it up with his approach to this ’16 team at bit. Bochy’s response to the teams’ hitting slump: hey guys, go ahead and skip batting practice and show up to the ballpark later than usual. Not exactly a “tough love” approach.
Willie, I don’t see Baggs’ blog there, only his game-story. Not that it’s that big a deal; he wasn’t updating the blog regularly anyway. And he wasn’t posting much there during the off-season.
The game-story has a place for people to comment, so it accomplishes the same thing.
Ahit, I just noticed we have 4 more games with the Padres. We’re fucked.
Chuck– do you think Carolina woulda dropped a 50 burger on us if Stewart had played all game?
They ran pretty well on us anyway. I don’t think Stewart would have made that much diff. Except that he might not have fumbled like fozzy bear did. Good enough for one more score? Sure.
Just sayin’
“Sky dive naked from an aer-o-plane, or a lady with a body from outer space…..”
I would’ve fit right in this picture 30 years ago…
I’m not throwing in the towel, but I am just dialing-back my expectations for this team, big time (I am going to do some basking in remembering “Three in Five”). This whole second half has got to be the most frustrating stretch I can remember in a long time.
Mentioned a few threads back that once Casilla-later gave up the lead Saturday, I just turned-off the TV in disgust. I am so done with that fucker, and with Bochy’s continuing to trot him out in key situations.
Didn’t catch much of the game yesterday (followed on LameDay). How fucking frustrating to take the first two, be within a whisper of taking the third, and then end-up with a split. Hey, that right there is a microcosm of the entire second half of this year.
On the Romo laughing part, I did have that game recorded, but have deleted it, which sucks (may be able to recover it off the DVR), as I would love to see it again with all the comments about it last thread.
As Snarkk and others have noted, if this kind of thing happened to an East coast team, the press would be all over it, like a dog with a bone, not giving up on the story. There’s just no follow-through with these Giants beat writers. Did any of them even ask Bochy about it after the game, or ask Romo? DId they even see it, or were too busy putting ketchup on a hotdog? I’m guessing they probably didn’t ask any questions about it.
Now, for all we know, Romo may have later apologized to Bochy about it, and it’s not a big deal at all with the team; but the Bay Area press had a juicy story there for them and they did nothing with it. It is pretty lame coverage at times.
I hope this works: Laughing Romo.
https://www.facebook.com/john.bush.7503
That worked. (People might need to be Facebook users to see it.)
Romo also continued to have a big grin when he got back to the bench.
To his credit, the camera showed him later standing at the dugout rail, seemingly pulling for Casilla to do well.
I saw the bench stuff too, but even for the game replay on mlb.com, they show the commercials so that was too long of an interruption.
Thanks for posting the clip. It was interesting to see it again.
Yep. Worked for me, via FB. And yes, Romo had that same shit-eating-grin on his face once he was in the dugout. Would be fun to know the backstory on this (whether Romo and Bochy had a conversation, what the rest of the teams’ take was on this, etc.).
Can it be converted somehow so non-Facebook people like me can see it?
I’m loving the dogged quest taking place for the “Laughing Romo” video!!
Also, glad to hear he was pulling for Santiago after the incident.
Sorry, SD. There must be some way to post a video here from my phone, but I don’t know how.
I texted it to you, hope that works.
Maybe “laughing” is too strong a word. He definitely has a big disbelieving grin on his face.
No, he was laughing in the dugout. And on his way off the mound.
Yep…what I get from it (and got at the time Saturday night) was him laughing and almost saying “are you fucking kidding me?!”
Exactly. As in, “I give up a single and get pulled? This guy has blown 6 saves THIS WEEK!”
Loo – from the last thread and your comment “Yes, the NY Flapalooza is becoming a distant memory fast…”
I mean come on…even though the Bald Eagle is looking to make a more permanent nest in SE Asia, there were other left-coast Flappers there with ya, too. I am with SanDiggity – keep talking like that, and I too will carpet-bomb you with voicemails. 😉
Speaking of Flapaloozas – I think some of you right coast Flappers need to make a pilgrimage out here next year.
Mets are in town Friday through Sunday, June 23-25.
I just meant that the weeks and months fly by so fast. The NY Flapalooza is my best memory from this summer…
You do know the story around the song, right Flav?
what, kickstart my heart? No. I just know that I rocked out hard to it back in the day and still think it’s a rad song. But the rest of their stuff, I’m not a big fan
Nikki Sixx OD’ed and died of a heroin overdose in like 1978. They literally kickstarted his heart back up with a shot of adrenaline in the ambulance.
He escaped from the ambulance and shot up some more.
Hey, I think I found our new closer . . .
Macdog did a yoeman’s job posting the Romo laughing vid but the quality doesn’t really do it justice. He was absolutely laughing during parts of it. It started out as this incredulous look and then turned into a laugh coming off the mound. I can’t remember the dugout, I just remember him smiling in the dugout. but, I didn’t see any replays……..
And how can this not be the best Crue song ever. Repetitous bad early 80s metal video…but the Crue breaking our their look and that Tommy Lee sound….
https://youtu.be/FToyVkqPW7Y
And this Giants second half is making me feel like this….
Of course Nick is dealing with the accidental death of one of his twin sons last year and this whole record is twinged with darkness and depression…you can literally feel his pain. They did a documentary about the making of his recently released album so he can avoid the press and premiered at the Venice Film Fest. Would be surprised if he tours…
Yeah, I read an article about the loss of his son. Very very sad. The worst thing in the world- a parent losing their child.
Has to be the worst a day hopefully no Flappers ever has to deal with…I don’t think I could go on and my wife definicely could not…plus the way Cave’s son had the worst possible accident talk death must be very very heavy on Cave and his wife. I saw a quote from Cave saying that you keep your eyes on your kid making sure they are safe their whole lives and you look away for one fucking moment and then the world changes..
Damn, I forgot just how much makeup they wore.
No wonder grunge happened.
Exactly Chuck. But at least Crue had a unique metal sound. The hair bands decided to copy the Crue’s hair but then went light metal/rock shit music and then came (and I was not a big fan, much more into Smashing Pumpkins) Smells Like Teen Spirit and the world changed….
Yeah, there were some good bands and a of of crap from that era. Cinderella being the prime example of pablum.
Funny thing is, Alice in Chains, one of my favorite grunge bands, was marketed as a metal band as grunge hadn’t happened yet. At least to those outside Seattle. They toured with Anthrax and Slayer and bands like that until Nirvana became the flag-bearers for grunge.
I got it Mac—thank you! That video on my crap phone was a little hard to see, but at least I got a TASTE of that wonderful moment.
The last song on the Shout at the Devil CD is a tune called “Danger.” DIdn’t get much publicity as far as I could ever tell, but I think it is a great song and would be my entrant for best Crue song of all time. I could play it right now and enjoy the hell out of it.
Anyone know that tune?
Personally I didn’t much care that grunge blew away hair metal. All I ever cared about (and still feel this way) was the sound coming out of the speakers, not the look or the image of the band. I loved Ratt and Dokken and Motley Crue and I loved Nirvana, Alice in Chains and Soundgarden. It was never an “us” versus “them” thing for me and having some bands come along that wrote about something other than their dick or partying was a refreshing change of pace as far as I was concerned. Give me some power chords and catchy melodies and I’m a happy camper. I don’t care what the packaging looks like.
Weirdest show I ever saw was NWA playing with Jesus and Mary Chain and the Meat Puppets somewhere in Ooakland. And yeah, bands like Y&T were hackneyed and contrived but they got it right sometimes.
Even bands like Iron maiden and Judas Priest, who I didn’t really like back in the day, I’m liking now.
Yeah, weird. I mean really, try to play 2 minutes to midnight without cranking the shit out of it.
I recently saw Jesus and Mary Chain in DC playing the while Darklands record. But before they did the whole record, they did a half dozen other faves. I mentioned before here seeing them in the City at the fillmore around ’86 and they entered looking completely strung out and hit the stage with four guitars and no drummer…fucking awesome awesome show..
Chuck, once I leave this teenage driving class with daughter #1, I’m going to refresh my memory of that Crue song. Right when Shout at the Devil came out, we saw then Winter ’83??? at the Warfield. Met everyone in the band but Tommy Lee. And if course they all signed our spray painted pentagram with Nikki Sixx telling us, “Dudes they won’t let us do Pyro man….” top 3 high school memory..
‘Dog, that was why I REALLY like GnR when they came out. They were your typical metal sex drugs rock and roll stuff, but had a MUCH darker edge than anyone else at the time.
I hear you Chuck! And I agree Cinderella was ridiculous in about 100 different ways and they had some horrible tunes, but I still have “Gypsy Road” on my phone and love cranking that sucker up about once a month. Great riff IMO.
Yup. Night Ranger was another so-so band but Don’t Tell Me You Love me is a great song.
Great White and Rock Me as well.
One of my favorite bands that has been pretty much forgotten is UFO. Rock Bottom has about the best guitar solo put down on vinyl. Michael Schenker is really crazy good.
Never forgotten by me Chuck.
I play UFO all the time at my local watering hole along with Pat Travers, Robin Trower,Blue Oyster Cult, shit even Alice Cooper when I want to feel 18 again lol..
Hey, sorry. I’m sick of talking about the Giants and the giant sucking sound they are making.
OK, last one. Michael Schenker is like 18 here. His older brither Rudy of course started the Scorpians.
Chuck, one of my best teenage memories was seeing Michael Schekner Group open for Nugent and they blew him out of the water. We were a group 10 head banging in front at the San Jose Civic. The MSG Tshirts was a fashion statement at high school with only the 4-5 friends who went to the show sporting the coolest black metal shirt ever known…
And Chuck, Priest is my favorite metal band of all time…more Giant Head Trivia, caught a Herman Rarebell drumstick at a Scorpions show at the Cow Palace circa 1984 if I can recall…
Couple of great stories there GH. Yeah, saw MSG at the Keystone Palo Alto. Love that logo . . .
You got a drumstick from Herman the German!!??
That is a FUN FACT G-Head!
Dog, one goal of me and my buddies was to try and time the rock drummer throwing the drum sticks either before the first encore or at the end of the last encore. So I am tall like you and had mad jumping ability. As the Scorps were wrapping up what I thought was the last encore, I started to make my way back 30 yards or so figuring that was a good drumstick throwing distance. And Herman let’s fly and here it comes and I time my jump perfectly and grabbed the top of the stick as some young punk grabbed the bottom of the stick. I assessed the situation and just pulled up and he was screwed. He then asked if he could see it and I was hesitant but the guy ended up being cool and did not try any shenanigans…
no more videos, takes too long to scroll through that much stuff and this is still the game thread.
Hah! Hey, Bochy flipped the (lineup) spread. Nunez is leading off!!!
About time Bochy!!
Nooner 3rd
Pagan LF
Posey C
Pence RF
Hernandez!!! CF
Crawfish SS
Belt 1st
Bummie P
Tomlinson 2nd
This is the lineup that should have been starting for the past 2 months.
1000% in agreement…
PS, that lineup takes up as much space as a video!
Lulz…WORD!
I wonder if Kershaw’s on a strict pitch count…
Will he need more than 90?
You guys have seen so many more great shows it blows my mind.
I will say I saw Night Ranger and Alcatraz put on a surprisingly good show at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara in the 80’s.
There was also a Great White mention and I had a great time at a Great White/Kix/Tesla triple bill at the Open Air Theatre on campus at SDSU back in the day as well.
Fun Fact: Tesla is from Sacramento and they were formerly called “City Kid.” City Kid played some of our dances at Woodland High when they were just getting going.
Fun Fact 2: In high school, a friend of mine took German and he put his skills to work by writing a letter to The Scorpions in German. They, in turn, wrote him a hand written letter back along with some autographed pictures. Back in those days, that was a pretty big deal.
That is awesome…never thought about that idea. Wie gehts Herr Schenker….
Pixies, Primus & Jane’s Addiction was a pretty good show that I saw at Bob Graham. I’ve seen a lot of shows at the Warfield which is probably my all time favorite venue.
Saw Jane’s with Love and Rockets at my alma matter at San Jose State…
Unfortunately, Great White lives in infamy…
Yeah, that’s a horrifying story. It happened so fast. Just horrible.
Awesome – we might be on the opposite poles of California sports, but we share a very similar appreciation of talented rock n roll guitar. I saw UFO at the Long Beach Convention Center in the early ’80’s and thought I’d never regain my full hearing. We were a few rows from the stage but off to the right side. My right ear took the full brunt of the 200 foot tall wall of speakers. We scored the seats from a few people after the warm-up band’s set was over who couldn’t take it. Loudest concert I can ever remember. Saw Judas Priest, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, etc, etc at the same venue. Went and saw Iron Maiden a couple years ago at the Fabulous Forum in Inglewood. They STILL kick ass.
Rooster…saw Priest about 4 years ago outdoor amphitheater in Maryland and we were close to the stage. It was the loudest fucking show since high school anf just like high school, took a couple of days for the ringing to stop…but they were awesome with Halford in full Metal God mode…
Btw, for those inquiring minds : This is the 10th time Bumgarner and Kershaw are matched up against each other in the regular season. Bumgarner is 4-3 with a 2.88 ERA in those games. Meanwhile, Kershaw is 3-4 with a 2.18 ERA.
Stop trying to act normal, Blue Beak…
Thor has nothing tonight. Mets down 3-0 in the 4th. He’s already at 88 pitches…
Make it 5-0…
“I’ve seen a lot of shows at the Warfield”
There’s a photo of me in the Warfield; the photo is hanging on a wall in the lobby.
OK….the photo is not just of me. It’s a big photo of a moment at the Earthquake Relief Concert that was held at the Cow Palace after the big ’89 earthquake. Lots of great musicians performed, and some comedians performed also. And the big special guest was an elderly Bob Hope (!) So the photo shows Bob Hope onstage and a portion of the crowd that was standing on the floor area in front of the stage. Our main interest in being there was seeing Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young performing together. My friends and I were relatively close to the stage, and I can easily find myself in that photo, as I’m about a head taller than the people around me in the photo.
That was always my advantage too Zum for concerts. I could always see over the crowd. But I have no picture of me at the Warfield…
That was such a bizarre month. The tragic earthquake in the middle of a Bay Area World Series; and the 49ers defending their Super Bowl championship, but having to play away from Candlestick for several weeks. In one of the games, Jeff Fuller permanently lost the use of one of his arms in a game. The Niners would go on to have a great season and repeat as champions.
“Saw Jane’s with Love and Rockets at my alma matter at San Jose State…”
At the football stadium? I saw The Cure perform there. Great show.
Zum, no…in the little student center. Couple of my fraternity brothers to get into the show for free volunteered to be security for the show and got into Jane’s dressing room and allegedly drank all their Heineken (Heineken? FUCK THAT SHIT! PABST BLUE RIBBON).
I followed suit with another show for one of my all time favorite bands The Church. Probably 1989. We had to carry equipment in and saw the coolest sound check and then for their part of the show, I sat on a speaker stage left right next to the drummer and watched the whole show….met the whole band and during the equipment loading hung with their guitarist Marty Wilson Piper, who did his sound check that blew us away…
And Zum, should have clarified that Jane’s opened for Love and Rockets (I did see Love and Rockets open for Siouxsie and the Banshees and thought they were so much better than her…
Very cool experiences! Great times.
I saw Nirvana perform at the Warfield. They weren’t famous at the time. They were one of two opening acts for Sonic Youth. I was a huge Sonic Youth fan. We were standing in that small bowl-like area in front of the stage for the show. In my younger years, I could take standing in general admission crowded areas like that.
I was impressed with Nirvana. Their performance was quite good, I thought.
I can dig Sonic Youth as well. ‘Daydream Nation’ has some of my favorite guitar work of all time. Some Sonic Youth stuff can seem like just noise when first hearing it. And honestly, SOME of it IS just noise, no matter how many times you listen to it. But some of it, when they got it right, was, and still is poetry, pure and simple.
I totally agree. A truly original band.
“Loudest concert I can ever remember.”
Yeah, I’ve been at some very loud ones over the years. Neil Young and Crazy Horse at the Cow Palace, Bob Mould (of Husker Du) at the Fillmore, Cheap Trick at a theater in the Central Valley, the Sadies at the Great American Music Hall, the Drive-By Truckers at the Fillmore. Those definitely stand out in my memory.
No wonder I tend to gravitate towards more folk-oriented music these days. Takin’ it easy on my ears in my older years. 🙂
No shit Zum. It was worth seeing Priest for the first time for me in about 30 years when I saw them recently.. I’m not Drive By Truckers fan but huge Jason Isbell fan.. his solo show a couple of years ago is in my all time Top 10. …
Totally agree about Isbell.
Yep, for a while there, throughout my teens, we were hitting up a couple, few concerts every month. Saw Neil Young and Crazy horse at the Hollywood Bowl, great place for a show. Amazing how much abuse your ears can take and still perform their duties reasonably well, although my wife would disagree…
My wife would probably agree but my wife, parents and in-laws all have bad hearing and never been to anything louder than a symphony…
I got my money’s worth in my younger days. But never saw AC-DC or VAN HALEN (not my bands but they still rock) and expected they were loud as hell. I think even how loud concerts were in the 80s, there was a point of them avoiding going too loud to avoid distortion. Audio equipment today because of digital must be much more efficient, hence that recent Priest show and it was outdoors just floored me how loud it was.
The key I think is Bum avoiding any early trouble and then getting Kershaw out of the game…
Collins’ Riot Act didn’t work tonight. 🙂
I remember George Carlin saying: “I read the Riot Act once. I found it wordy and pretentious.”
he was solid gold
Yeah, I miss that guy.
One of the bigger myths about the Giants is that Bum is a good hitter. He’s not. He hits the occasional HR, but he has lots of bad ABs.
the announcers are constantly jizzing about his batting practice bombs. That adds to the mystic. He does have a pretty nice looking swing. I rarely think righties have appealing swings. Why is it we always reserve that feeling for lefties?
I think that is more due to him trying to hit a home run every swing…I think if he worked at a hitting strategy he might be a more diverse hitter…IMO…
Nunie went head first into all 3 bags!
He could have gone head first there too!
That is right mfers…Noonan to the rescue…
If Bochy’s brain was bigger then his cap he would have had Nunez leading off once he came here. And for the ultimate speed game have Specs batting 2nd!!
This team needs the fire those 2 can produce going forward..
Nunie at leadoff, something I called for from day 1, was beyond obvious but with Bochy doing his usual obsession with *his guys* there wasn’t a chance for him to do it till the season became lost. Casilla and Span ruined this season and it wasn’t even their fault. It was their manager who fucked this all to hell.
Pagan’s complaining, but I think the ump has given both pitchers a big strike zone.
Bum’s pitch count is too high to complete the game. The bullpen will make an appearance at some point.
Cue up “The Gauntlet” gif!
Oh yes.
I love that movie, by the way.
Me too. A flawed, but highly entertaining film.
Kap won’t be standing for the anthem anytime soon. Tulsa police gunned down an unarmed black man for unclear reasons.
Before the shooting, a policeman on the radio: “He looks like a bad dude.”
The police waited two minutes before going to his body to offer any aid.
How many terrorists did Kap apprehend today?
Exactly what we neeses…RALLY FUCKING RALLY!!!
Needed…love the camera shot of the Giants pen unloading..
It looked like the running of the bulls in Spain.
The bulls are all good closers…
Zum, I think Bum is going to force them to keep him in for the length…
Bum….sigh….
“Don’t look at me!”
Good move by Bochy to just pull the hothead.
Let’s pray on the pen then.. I think that since we have no vocal leaders….Bum wanting to throw down is the thing to finally rally this team. Same thing as going in and overturning a food buffet table…
I was putting the dishes away when that all went down. I broke my own golden rule when watching the Dodgers play: never take my eyes off Puig, aka Mr. Excitement..
One of my old favorite NBA centers Bob “The Golden” Rule…

Fuck Puig!
Fuck the Dodgers!
I’m always gonna support Bum.
Snake eye on both sides, you could see it coming!
Now the only real Bummer, a masterpiece by the Undertaker with 12 coffins and no free bodies, is that’s he’s out of the game and the pen will probably gag another one and we lose 2-1…
Any sign of rain in the L.A. area?
We made it through the 8th inning gauntlet.
The 9th inning looms like an executioner’s chair, as we hope the governor makes the telephone call.
The relentless zombies defeated the Rockies tonight.
Never easy against these cockaroaches.
I wish Bochy would just let a guy pitch — other than Casilla. How are you going to find out whether Law can close if pull his ass immediately? Whatever. At least this isn’t a Casilla torture. Yet…
I hope Lopez doesn’t walk him. Or give him a fat pitch.
He’s 2 for 5 versus Lopez, if that means anything…
Lead off hit as Shockey ( Clint) makes the turn for the courthouse under heavy cop attack🔫🔫🔫
NICE! I think his partner just got gunned down by a sniper who double crossed him.
I don’t think this Bochy move of one pitcher vs. one guy works well. I really don’t. It doesn’t seem to have worked lately. These guys can never get a rhythm. Law has strike out stuff, and got pulled immediately for Lopez who is more a contact guy. No confidence Strick can get a K here, which is what is needed…
Oh my goodness. I’m gonna have the remote in my hand with my finger on the off button. If someone launches one, the TV is gonna be off before it hits the seats.
What a mess. 9th inning disarray yet again.
As my 9:29 post looks golden!
The “Gauntlet” under heavy seize needs Sondra Locke to bare her chest for any chance to win this booby prize, uhh game!!!
Just turned on the game and almost threw up
If Strick had a decent changeup he could control, he’d be darn near unhittable…
Can this be happening again???
It is
F
