The New Era Feels Like the Old Era

Two games into the Stubbs/Arroyo Era and it has resulted in 3 runs in 2 games. Now that they’ve settled into The Show, I’m thinking one or both hit a bomb tonight. Why not?

Time for Cueto to shimmy his ass back on the beam. Coors Field is in the rear view mirror, Bumgarner’s arm sits glumly in a sling. We need him to step up or opt out.

  Yep, the retiring part was a joke. I mentioned here on the Flap right after he was drafted that he is a family friend. My dad and Domenic’s father and grandfather worked together in the masonry business for many years. My dad was actually out here visiting when the Tebow thing went down, so I didn’t say anything about it at the time.
  
  We couldn’t be happier for him after the whole Tebow thing, which he handled with total class. I have no doubt in my mind, he will be in the bigs some day soon, if only for a cup of coffee. . The composure he carries is second only to his killer changeup. Great pitcher, even better kid.
