The pisser here is this team usually goes into “we can’t hit at home” mode and gets blanked when they return. Never have I seen a team with such a mind-fuck of their own creation. A home-field disadvantage.

I’ll be surprised if we don’t get swept.

I saw that AJ Pollack will be back with the Flodgers. With the way those a-holes are going, is he expendable? Who here would trade Will Smith and Watson for Pollack, who has 4 years and $41 mill left on his contract.

I would hate trading anything of value to them but I would do this deal and get a legit lead-off…

    • alleykat69's avatar alleykat69 said, on July 5, 2019 at 11:44 am

Way too much for a guy like Pollack who’s always injured 🤕And Fuck LA I would never trade with them unless it’s Pom for Bellinger 😂

Never feel that great when the Pompadour takes the mound, so 2 outta 3 sounds about right to me.

6 back in the WC, we are in the passing lane and Cinci is next.

really interested to see if the Giants offense can keep it going tonight. They are now a week removed from the bounce they got from the Flap glare. Nothing shines forever. Sometimes I think Bochy took “it’s better to burn out than to fade away” way too literally……

My brother was talking about this. I’m up for anything to deal with the seagull problem. How about some kind of high pitched sonic noise to drive them away—Cuban embassy style?
In my book, there are 4 things about the Giants i find embarrassing:
      1. Seagull situation
      2. Ballpark dimensions
      3. Bullshit Bullpens

Not as a tiebreaker, but you can put either (or both) of those guys as staying with Giants.

This bizarre pick is based on a shocking resurgence of the Giants before the trade deadline — shocking beyond reason and credulity. Plus, this dollop of strange optimism is penance to Blade to whom I emailed in June 2010 that the Giants were done for the year.

Gregor Blanco is on the Syracuse Mets. Sad to say, he ain’t this year’s Manny Burriss. I was at Frontier Field in Rochester (great park) with my Adri and her bf (Father’s Day gift), and the former beloved White Shark looked lost offensively. Struck out twice, once looking, I recall. Couldn’t get bat on the ball. He looked the same in Syracuse several weeks ago. So, I better order his copy of WORLD SERIOUS fast.

A guy named Rymer Liriano CRUSHED a rocket homer, a laser that would’ve landed in the parking lot except that it hit the scoreboard, halfway to the top of the structure. BOMBED. And he threw a guy out at 3B from RF.
