Oh man, though I always expect the Dodgers to lose in the post season because that’s just how they roll I didn’t REALLY think the Nats would be the one to fell them. But sure enough, Kershaw came out and laid another post season egg and Washington is now in position to do this. They’re the ones playing with house money. They’re the ones that are now at home. And LA is back on their heels AGAIN. Lol, man watching their dumbasses lose in the post season is nearly as good as watching the Giants win.
Two more intriguing games today. Great baseball is just coming at us in waves right now, it’s awesome….

Bart is starting to figure it out against higher quality pitching. He’s only had just over 500 ABs in the minors, and that includes 25 just now in the AFL. That’s not a lot. Posey had a total of 631 ABs in the minors. If Bart starts showing consistent hard contact next spring in Scottsdale, he’s gotta be on a fast track because of his power. Z is not going to let him percolate down in the minors too long so his psyche is strong ala Sabes, especially with Posey stinkin’ it up at the plate again next season…

Beane and ownership’s method of operating on the cheap are screwed in Oakland. Semien will be FA in a year and Chapman arb eligible at same time. These guys are perennial AS and $20 mil per year players. Time to pay up–A’s cannot afford otherwise or fanbase will revolt and they will wind up in Portland.
They also have to have a legit top of rotation SP, who is going to be another $20 mil guy. Astros aren’t going anywhere and even though Oakland won 97 games they were 10 behind them.
