A Place To Talk About Giants Baseball

The King

Thirteen years ago. Man where are the days going? Feels like 13 years was right about when the pandemic started, eh?

I will always love Barry Bonds but the 3 beauties we got after he left make what Barry did almost appear small. To me anyway.

LA tonight. The great thing about a series with these losers is that you just never really know how it’s going to play out. Always a surprise…….

The schedule does get a bit easier next month, for what it’s worth.

I’m not a real big fan of guitar solos that go a million miles an hour, which are popular in heavy metal. To me, they’re solos that go nowhere. But I have to say it is impressive that human beings can play a guitar that fast. It doesn’t seem possible.
This is the Vernon Reid solo from Living Colour’s “Cult of Personality,” played by somebody else on YouTube. Quick hand-to-eye coordination.

That’s cool. And I agree with you on the shredding just for the sake of shredding solos. I saw Living Color at a small club in Tijuana back in the day. Bad Brains opened. Good show.

I saw them perform at a club in San Jose that doesn’t exist anymore, One Step Beyond. The place had a cool vibe with big pillars.

Shark just sucks, Now 6 HR’s allowed and only 5K’s
He can’t throw it by anyone as all players are running to the bat rack waiting to tee off on him..

Loo did call Wilmet bomb, second one he’s hit in LA. No HR from Slater but he did hustle himself into a triple and stole a base earlier.
No way I trade Wilmet though, he’s one of few bright spots from IF at plate along with solano. If nothing else he can DH and platoon with Belt at 1b. Unlikely Giants get a prospect that can hit like he does anyway.

Agree if we get rid of Wilmer who else am I going to cry about?
In all seriousness he’s been a great acquisition that’s had some huge hits.Fielding another story but who hasn’t stunk with the glove this year?
