And what happened to La Stella? I know he hurt his thumb, is he done for the year now? What a worthless signing that was.

      I vaguely remember Anderson as the guy the Giants got in the Nunez deal. So the Nunez deal did eventually pay off for the Giants.

        Where in my post did I disrespect Nunez? The trade was done as a rebuild move. We all understood that. Nunez went on to contribute to the Red Sox winning a World Series. I respect that.

        Nunie was a great player for us but he was on a team that didn’t finish. The only players who get any respect here are OPS guys. It’s stupid.

    Wilmer to me is one of the least athletic looking dudes for a power hitter that I can remember. He looks like he should be bowling with the Dude in the Big Lebowski.
    But, hey, he gets it done, that’s cool.
    Just keep the throws to 1b a bit more in control.
    $3+ million a year for him was another ZMan steal…
