Dead Team Losing

Posted in Uncategorized by Flavor on September 22, 2016

Agent 000 hit a bomb and we lost. That barely computes. But hey, no worries, the Mets and the Cardinals lost, too! It’s embarrassing being in this wild card race. I am not on board in the slightest with the take of “hey, if we can get in, anything can happen!” That’s a perspective for a team that’s at least half way decent. We suck. In literally every aspect of the game except starting pitching. In that area we have 2.5 solid starting pitchers as long as the first one isn’t getting stared at, the second one isn’t getting bitten in the balls by a crab and Mr. 0.5 is pitching in an easy, breezy pressure free game.

Do I think we could win a wild card game? Sure, anyone can. Do I think we could beat any other post season team in a 5 or 7 game series? Haha, no chance in hell. Just kill this season already. Pence is playing the OF like he’s half awake. If the Reverend is shutting it down it’s time we do, too. I don’t remember much about the ’85 hundo loss bunch but it has to be worse being a fan of this year’s team than that team. It HAS to.

Smarge going tonight in SD.

They’re irrelevant to us at this point…

I thought of the two numbers on the Giants’ sleeves, one was for Loo’s guy, Jim Ray Hart. Nope.

    • djloo27 said, on September 22, 2016 at 9:53 pm

Nope. Monte Irvin who played exactly ZERO games as a SFG gets one and Davenport whose career pales in comparison to JRH…

        write to Larry Baer

Somebody PLEASE explain why this 000 phuck is on this team.
He doesn’t hit, his defense is suspect. He can’t friggin’ bunt. WTF!…
Why is he swinging, not bunting, with just one strike. Did Bochy take off the bunt when he had just one strike.
We needed Belt to go to third. I don’t fuckin understand this management.
This team sucks in fundamentals of offensive baseball…

Span has a stoopid stance, but not quite Rowandian.

They should chop off his right foot with an ax…

He’s our closer now Chuck. No more debates….

  12. Macdog said, on September 22, 2016 at 9:56 pm

Mr. Matchup couldn’t find a righty on the bench to pinch-hit vs. a lefty instead of Span?

    • unca_chuck said, on September 22, 2016 at 9:57 pm

Not with 30 pitchers on the roster

  13. unca_chuck said, on September 22, 2016 at 9:56 pm

    OMFG

  14. snarkk said, on September 22, 2016 at 9:56 pm

This team is so, so lame on offense.
It is just amazingly inept. It’s as if they are resigned to being able to score 2 runs a game, maybe 3. Bochy refuses to take a “risk” like telling 000 to bunt through all three strikes. How many here think 000 has a better shot at a hit than getting a bunt down in three tries. I don’t fuckin understand this…

The Laughing Reliever does it again. Haad ’em all the way.

  21. snarkk said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:07 pm

Romo = new closer. WTF not?
    Yes!!!
Another win, another case of twisted colon…

  22. willedav said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:08 pm

maybe getting one in second half leads to a sweep. Pads are fighting the DBax for 4th but they are sure lot tougher on Giants hitters than any pitchers from AZ.

  23. Macdog said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:09 pm

Was anyone here as terrified as I was seeing that final out get hit to .000?

    • snarkk said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:11 pm

Nowadays in the 9th, I just start in terrified, and go from there…

      • Macdog said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:14 pm

        lulz…

  24. snarkk said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:09 pm

Giants barely beat a starting squad with almost half the players just rolled in from AAA…

  25. mrsprtdude said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:12 pm

YESSSS!!!! Bad luck finally didn’t haunt us. lame missed strike by the ump followed by lame dying qual double. I’m so glad he left ROMO in. He has closed out a World series win and hasn’t blown a save all year!

Why can’t I get a straight answer about Crawford and Cueto?

  27. mrsprtdude said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:34 pm

On MLB they said Craw was throwing and may play tomorrow. Cueto out a week…Re LA…I know they mean nothing. very annoying and a little impressive how often they seem to come back when down 3+ runs. G men never do…

    • djloo27 said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:35 pm

      Thank you, sports dude…

    • snarkk said, on September 22, 2016 at 10:42 pm

I read up on pinky dislocations.
Not necessarily a little thing. Could take weeks to really heal, depending on severity.
At least it’s on his glove hand. Good luck hitting, but, maybe we won’t notice since he’s been hitting down the dumper like everybody else…
